Finally need a new set after 78,524 miles

These are the standard tires on the Chevy Equinox Diesel. Tires are finally at the wear bar at 78,524 miles. The tires were reasonably quite for most of their life though they did get louder later on past the 50,000 mile mark. Since they lasted this long I could care less about a little extra road noise. Traction is great new and worn though reduced speed is needed through water past 50,000 to 55,000 mile marks. Please note that when I say reduced speed I mean traveling though a torrential down pour in Virginia which you should be going slower anyway. I will be getting another set. Bravo Zulu on the tire.

Do not buy Michelin Premier LTX Terrible Tread Wear

Bought new 2019 Chevy Equinox now has 23,000 miles, took to the dealer for regular maintenance and tire rotation. Dealer would not rotate due to tires being rated at zero. After looking at all of these 404 bad reviews I do not believe I want anymore of these tires. These are not 60000 mile tires

Didn't last 15k miles!

Horrible tires. Bought a brand new 2022 Lexus rx350. At less than 15000 miles have already had to replace 2 and the other 2 need to be replaced soon. Absolutely disappointed in these tires and the poor choice of tires of a quality vehicle like Lexus. Thought better of Michelin.

ShanR1, sorry to read that you've had to replace 2 tires. We'd recommend that you have the existing tires inspected by an authorized Michelin retailer in your area. Please ask the dealer to contact us with the inspection.

Great Tire!

This is a great tire. I don't understand what all the complaining is about. I have all my vehicles services every three months regardless of mileage. During that service I have everything checked. I have them aligned at least every year and sooner if there's a reason that calls for it. Today I'm getting the third set of these same tires on a 2015 Nissan Murano. It has 127,684 miles on it. That's almost 64,000 on each set. The set that's on it has at least another 20,000 on them but I noticed a small cut in the sidewall yesterday so that's the reason for the new set today. These tires are quite, responsive, handles rain, snow and dry conditions. I'm not sure you you can find a better tire that the Michelin Premier LTX

Garbage

These tires came new on my 2018 equinox and just had them replaced at 35K miles. In all reality I should've replaced 10K ago but stretched them a few more miles. Worst freaking tire I've seen in my entire life. Will never buy this brand tire again unless they make some serious improvements. I can see this out of some knock of brand but Michelin? These tires are very expensive. In this are, you certainly do not get what you pay for! Garbage at its best

Definite wear issue....

A quiet tire that rides well, but goodness, these things wear out quickly. 18k miles, and down to 3/32nds (though on wet roads, it feels like less!) To make matters worse, they are on my wife's car, and she definitely babies the car -- so it's definitely not due to aggressive driving.

JP17, we're sorry to read that your tires are in need of replacement after only 18,000 miles. There is a mileage warranty on the tire and you should get credit based on the mileage you received. A member of our team will be in touch to work with you and your retailer on initiating a mileage warranty claim.

Tires wore out early .

I recently bought a 2021 Lexus RX-350 with these tires . Brought the car to my trusted mechanic and he said there was excessive wear . The car only has 22,000 miles on the tires . I am very disappointed in both Michelin and Lexus for putting these poor tires on my car !

Bill M, sorry to read of your treadwear complaint. The warranty on the original equipment tires is for the original purchaser of the vehicle and is not transferrable. That said, we'll be glad to speak to an authorized Michelin retailer in your area that has inspected the tires and can give us more details about the wear.

Fix the advertisement

You know, an easy fix to all of these one-star reviews would be to stop advertising a 60k limited warranty. The general public only sees one thing in the description - 60,000 miles - and they expect to get every mile out of these tires. Realize, though, that at 60,000 miles you'll be driving on bald tires. Michelin, drop your limited warranty mileage to a reasonable expectation for these tires, like 30,000. Accept that they are soft and wear fast. The public will appreciate your honesty and reward you with more stars.

HORRIBLE SAFETY HAZARD!!

HORRIBLE! These came on my 2020 Cadillac XT5, not even 22k miles later of only city driving since I work from home and two tires are completely worn down. One is even showing the metal beneath the rubber, extreme safety HAZARD. I expected much more from this brand and from Cadillac to chose a better tire brand for a luxury vehicle.

Terrible wear! Time to choose a different tire.

Terrible wear. Chunks of tire missing. Have purchased Michelin tires exclusively for all my vehicles. This is the first time we've had a negative experience, however, it's bad enough for us to consider purchasing different tires. We always follow the proper tire maintenance.

JJ, we're sorry to read this. We'd suggest that you take the vehicle to your local Michelin retailer for an inspection of the tires. Have the dealer call us with their findings while you are there.
