Battery lasts about 5-10min. Great for hand-eye coordination and playing together.

Used the first one outside for the first time a couple weeks of using it indoors and it flew away.

Can't say that about a lot of toys but this one really holds his eye for a while. We've had some similar toys in the past but this one works better than all Of em.

This is a fascinating little toy. Perfect for indoor use as the motion sensors prevent it from flying in to household objects. The outer cage also has a bit of give so if it does hit anything it won't cause any damage. I'd suggest using this indoors only. I bought one as a gift for my friend's child and within 2 minutes of playing with it outdoors, the thing took off ... flying high up and over a fence, a few trees, at least one house and despite our efforts we unfortunately could not find it anywhere. Had fun with it for the 5 minutes we had it though....

Neat little toy. Very stable like it says. Obstacle avoidance could use some work though. Toy is very light so battery is limited by necessity, so I got 3. Crashes are no problem as far as damage, unless it comes down in a wood chipper. I'll fly it at work when the stress level goes up. Watch it float around a bit. Very nice…

Agree with other reviewers. Don't use it outside. It was fun for a day and then the grandkids took it outside and lost control of it. It flew to the top of a very tall tree and it was gone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this hover star ufo a few weeks ago. I needed something fun to entertain my kids and get them moving while in the house. My kids ( and I) loved playing with the hover star. It takes a minute to get used to controlling it with your hand movements but it got us up and moving. It takes about 30 minutes to charge. The only downside is that you only get about 5-7 minutes of play before you have to charge it again. It has had some bumps and bruises crashing into walla and on the floor and some areas have a piece that broke but it is still functional.

This thing is super fun but it flew off within the first few minutes outside. It literally shot up in the sky super super high well over roofs and electric lines. It just left and never came back. Keep it inside and it's awesome. Our friend's kid had one so we got one for our dog to play with and that was our mistake.

Second one in two weeks. Broken after two hours.
