I've been a loyal Cottonelle user since the product hit the market in the 70's. When I opened my newest pack I noticed the rolls looked strange. Why so small, like something you'd find at a a highway rest stop? After looking at the wrapping I could see the roll size has diminished by 1/2 an inch (4.0" to 3.5"). My husband even asked "what happened?" The roll looks strange on the holder hardware in the bathroom, and fits so loosely now that it slides when the plys are torn during use. I've returned an unopened pack to Target. I did some investigating and see another major supplier has diminished the size of its rolls as well. This may ultimately be the future industry standard. But for now, you've lost a customer.

I was a diehard Cottonelle fan... until they went and changed the texture of the Ultra Comfort Care. It used to be nice and strong and didn't roll and break off into little bits that got stuck where they shouldn't get stuck. But now that's exactly what it does. It's dusty and begins falling apart as soon as it gets wet. Now I have to find another toilet tissue. Cottonelle, as the old saying goes - if it ain't broke, don't fix it. It's a little *too* soft. Soft is good, but thick and strong is better.

Cottonelle Ultra is a very good product that I've used for years, but please, no more size reductions in order to boost profits. After noticing the roll now rolls wildly back and forth on the holder, I measured the sizes of a roll from an older (but recent) package and one from the newest package. The older one was 4" x 4.125", while the newer one is 4" x 3.86"! I'd rather pay a little more for a decent size tissue. I've read several complaints on different sites, so don't bother giving the same canned response.

Cottonelle Ultra used to be the best until about a year ago, when the ripples were supposedly improved. Then itching started, bad itching. At first I thought I had a yeast infection, but I didn't. I discovered that Conttonelle now leaves a lot of lint on my body which irritates my skin. I had to switch to Charmin and no more problem. Also the durability went down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cottonelle toilet paper is the best on the marker. Thicker than other brands. We have been forced to use other brands during the current shortage and find we definitely use more product with them. Unfortunately, Cottonelle is sold out everywhere. Our subscription service has cancelled our orders. If we were able to buy directly from the manufacturer, we would definitely do that.

This used to be the very best paper! Now it is rough....thin and just the worst for the money. It cost more than ever! Way more than other brands. Yet KC has cut the size of the roll that it's hardly wide enough to cover anything. The roll is 1/4 inch narrower than other cheaper brands. It leaves enough lint to stuff a pillow. KC is trying so hard to make more money off us that they have lowered their standards and the quality suffers. No more Cottenne here!

A clean bum is important from top to bottom. Cottonelle Ultra ComfortCare is the only toilet paper I trust for such an important job. It feels so good that I almost look forward to my next trip to the bathroom knowing that my insurance policy for a clean front- and backside is sitting humbly in the paper holder. Soft, thick, and it doesn't cause any problems with clogging the commode? Sign me up for the purple pack!

I prefer to buy Cottonelle but you keep changing the roll size. Width needs to be at least 4.2 to fit on my toilet paper holders. You keep changing it to 4.0 so I am not able to use it. I complained about this a few years ago and you changed it back to 4.2. I would love to buy your product but looks like I have to go back to Charmin.

All my life I have used Cottonelle Clean Care Toilet Paper- I swear by it and I personally refuse to use other brands. Recently, I ordered the Cottonelle Ultra Comfort as opposed to my typical preferred Cotonelle Clean Care. After using the purple packaged Ultra Comfort for a few days I noticed things to be a little itchy below the belt. (I am female) I developed my first yeast infection as a result. I have not changed any of my soaps, perfumes, diet, or medication that could have caused a yeast infection. So, I did my homework. I began researching and this is more common than I imagined: People are allergic to toilet paper. Most common brand: Cottonelle. Why? Apparently Cottonelle may sometimes use bleach in their toilet paper so the paper has a brighter and whiter color/ appearance. Once I switched back to Cottonelle Clean Care the itch and irritation subsided. I'm writing this in hopes people think twice before buying the cheapest brand/ or style of tp. Quality over quantity. You truly do get what you pay for.
