I purchased a set of Michelin Defender tires for my 2008 Subaru Outback. After 7000 miles, the tread wear isn't even noticeable. The performance on snow, slush and water is phenomenal. These tires are extremely quiet at highway speeds and handle well on both twisty mountain roads and interstate driving. While they are not a dedicated snow tire, I use them year round in Wyoming winters with the only complaint of moderate ice traction. These tires will be purchased by me again.

I purchased the Defender tires and am very happy with their performance. I have an older car and these tires improved the ride more than 75%. They don't slip/skid when the road is wet and I'm pulling away from a light which was a problem with my previous tires. I also like that they are all weather tires. I would purchase these again.

I have had Michelin tires on several cars and trucks for many years and to date I have never had not one problem and have gotten over 100,000 miles out of the last two sets on a 6500 lbs SUV I cant ask for anything better than that. Handles great no road noise just cant be beat at any price you may pay a little more at first but after the first set you will see the savings and you Will buy more. If you can buy a better I have never heard of it Period...

My husband and I bought a set of 4 Michelin Defender tires. The price was reasonable especially with the outcome of them being reliable. We had tested them out quite a bit with people cutting you off...the tires would stop dead in their tracks just like the commerical says it would. Also, the comfort for the tires, you barely feel the bumps, they glide over nicely. For the price and the performance, I would definitely buy the Michelin Defender tires again. We have recommended them to our family and our friends and we won't stop recommending them to others. The best tires out there!

Michelin is my go-to tire manufacturer. I have always had good luck with these tires. So when I needed a replacement, and my mechanic recommended the Defender tire, it was a no brainer. I don't need to know all the engineering behind the tire, it is a Michelin, and was recommended as the best, enough said!

We put Michelin Defenders on our Nissan Altima. Not only do we feel safer and more secure on the road, our car is quieter and has a smoother ride! The additional confidence that comes from a 90,000 mile warranty makes us feel even more secure. These tires were an excellent value and we will never buy another brand again.

The tires have great traction in ice and snow. I live in Minnesota! They are quiet, handling is excellent. The car ride is very smooth. The steering is great, no over steer or under steer problems. They are mounted on a 2006 Scion xA, 185/60R15. I have had wonderful experience with the previous Harmony and Destiny Michelin tires, I expect these Defender tires will be the same.

I had Defenders installed on my 2010 Sienna van to replace the OEM tires. Inflated them to the car's specified 35 lbs. (Beware. Tire intstallers often under inflate.) The Defenders are rated 100 lbs more load capacity than my OEM tires! (Same size tire.) I've put 2000 miles on them. They are smooth riding, quiet, and the car handles fine. Not enough time to review breaking and tread life.

I had new tires from a major brand on my used Odyssey when I bought it a year ago. Nice to have new tires, I thought. But a few months ago I started having trouble with front end shimmy, steering wheel shaking, vibration at many speeds, and I thought the front end was going out. But a mechanic showed me that a tire was "bad." I took it to tire dealer who replaced it for free. The steel belt was shifting. All tires were at least 1.5 oz off balance. After three rebalances, lasting as little as three days, I got frustrated... If I can't drive three days without rebalancing tires something's wrong. So I replaced all four with the best tires I know of, Michelin. Then drove 2000 miles in a few days and the Michelins were perfect. I expect them to stay so for their warranty period, 90,000 miles, like all my other Michelins over the years. They are more expensive but definitely worth it, for peace of mind. Good tires are cheap insurance. These are great in ice and snow in Wyoming and Colorado.

I see a great tire for the type of family driving that I preform. The tire is quiet and has great gripping on turns at normal speeds. Wet roads give me confidence that I can control the car at normal and safe speeds. Snow has been no problems and great feeling of control. If I can receive the 90,000 miles as advertised I will be impressed. I have told two friends about the 90,000 miles and hope they can achieve those results.
