I bought the defender for my minivan based on research I conducted online and reading the reviews of others. I was immediately pleased with the superior ride compared to the original equipment tires. My van held the road well and provided a comfortable feeling of control in many driving conditions. I especially enjoyed the confidence while driving in wet and rainy weather. I was so pleased with the Defender that when I purchased a 14 year old Mercury Grand Marquis that had been stored so long the tires needed replacing, I didn't think twice and bought the Defender. What a great product! I've recommended the Defender to many of my friends.

Over the years I have purchased many different manufacturers tires. Michelin gives you the best overall cost. You pay a little more for the tires, but you go twice the distance with them making them the least expensive tire when you look at total cost of ownership of your vehicle. I have almost 40,000 miles on my Defenders now and we still have good rubber. I commute several times a week 65 miles and these tires give me superior control and stopping ability, especially in bad weather.

I put Michelin Defenders on my wifes Corolla earlier this year. She really likes the tires. It is about time to rotate them and I don't really notice any tread wear at all. I hope they last 90K miles. It may be the last set of tires I buy for that 06 Corolla. Happy in Deland, FL

I use the defender tires on my minivan and I have great traction when going around corners. The grip of these tires is extraordinary. I feel that I have greater traction in the rain than I have with any tires that I have ever owned waiting on the winter to see how they do in snow. I have always found with the cheapest tires that I could find in the past but decided to try these tires out and I am glad I did.

I have used Michelin tires for years because I feel that they are the safest tire on the road and I have always had very good luck using them on my vehicles. They provide a very comfortable ride and your mileage will increase per gallon with your personal vehicle and with our motorhome as well.

Have had these tires on my 2001 Honda Odyssey mini-van for about 1 1/2 years. They still handle great as the first day they were put on the car. I don't have any road noise with these tires like the last set of Michelin rain tires (HydroEdge - blech) I had which were quite noisy. So far, they have not shown any wear, I have recently bought a 2006 CRV and will need some tires in the future. Plan on looking at these tires for it!

I drive a Volkswagon Passat and I love my Michelin Defender tires. They ride smoothly with minimal road noise. They are wearing properly with routine rotations and I'm glad to know they are lasting longer than other brands. I will only put Michelin Defenders on my car! I feel safe that they are dependable and durable.

I knew I wanted Michelin Tires after buying a set for my wifes car, which is a small Nissan. However, I really love the way they handle on my Grand Marquis. The roads around the coast are a little tricky and these tires grip the road much better than the tires I was using. I would highly recommend these tires to anyone. Once you have driven on them, you'll see the difference.

LONGEST WEARING TIRE I'VE DRIVEN ON. HANDLES GREAT, VERY GOOD WET TRACTION, SMOOTH AND QUIET, SEEMS TO RISIST FLATS BETTER THAN OTHER TIRES I HAVE OWNED. I HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED ANY FLATS YET. I AM GETTING BETTER GAS MILEAGE. AFTER 20K MILES, I STILL HAVE 8/32" OF TREAD RUBBER LEFT. MY TIRE DEALER PROVIDES THE TIRE MAINTANCE SO I CAN GET MAXIMUM WEAR. I got 4 new Defender tires for my Honda Civic. I was having a problem with my car shaking when driving and road noise was increasing over time. I knew that my tires were causing the problem. The new Defenders have reduced all of the shaking and the road noise has decreased significantly as well. I am happy to have a smooth ride that is quiet as well. I was pleasantly surprised to find that good tires could be so important.
