Have about 2000 miles on a set of Defenders on 2002 Nissan Maxima, and I'm thoroughly impressed. Quiet and smooth as can be, and I am getting about 1 mpg better than before. Haven't had much wet experience, but they are way better than what I had. We will definitely put Defenders on our Odyssey when the time comes. Well done, Michelin. These are the best tires I've owned.

I bought the first set and at 15000 they were going left to right everytime i rotated them, so they put another set on, i had no problems until the third rotation and then... they started humming a little, Now it is so bad i cant drive them at 35000. I have always bought Michelins. Dont like these.

I recently purchased Defender tires for my 07 Honda Odyssey and so far I am so pleased and was glad I picked these tires. It surely rides smoother, quieter, and comfortable. Plus, it has 90,000 miles warranty with Michelin. It also looked great with my vehicle. No downside comments yet, though I never had tried any other brands with my two vehicles, it has always been Mechilins, in my personal opinion, using them for so many years, they are the best tires and with no problems. I highly recommends these tires, you won't regret it.

I researched what was a good tire for my car and the Michelin Defender was a highly recommended tire. The price, value, and wear was the best tire that I reviewed. I for the most part have always bought Michelin tires through out my life (sometimes used because of financial restraints) but have never had a problem with them. I found myself back in the winter in desperate need of new tires because a couple of my tires kept going flat everyday.Unfortunetly I could not afford them and my mother offered to help me out. She told me it could be an early birthday ,fathersday, and x-mas gift. I agreed and it was one of the best gifts I recieved. Ever since I got my new tires they have been excellent and helped me through the winter, spring and so far the summer. I believe the tires will outlive my present car and I will be looking for a new car I can put the tires on.All in all they are an excellent tire especially in inclement weather.

After being thrilled with the Defenders that I put on our Ford SUV last year (and still showing no wear), I put them on my Mustang Convertible last month. I had thought that the car may need new struts, but these tires were exactly what it needed. Smooth ride, great cornering, no noise - and you can really hear road noise when the top is down - but the noise is not coming from my car.

I love Michelin tires. I have Defenders on 2005 Scion. The Michelin tires that were on my 1997 RAV4 I got 194,000 miles on them, documented! I have Michelin Latitude tires on 2000 Ford F150 4x4. I swear by Michelin Tires!!!! They wear great, ride great, worth every penny.

These tires went on my 1995 Olds Cutlass Supreme. They deliver a beautiful smooth,quiet,comfortable ride,also very responsive, drives like a brand new car! When my wifes Silverado needs tires, Michelins will be going on that too. Do yourself a favor,do not waste a bunch of research time,just buy Michelin knowing you are buying the best tire on the market. Nobody else even comes close.

I bought these on 9/14 and I remember noticing how much more quite and smooth the ride was on my 2010 Prius. I am now on this site because I finally got around to registering my tires, went to check on them and they look good. I have driven about 10,000 miles so far and I don't have any issues or complaints. I'm not as organized of a person or as easy going as the average Prius driver, I tend to drive hard everyday on my everyday 55 mile commute. I also remember complaining about how loud the road noise was before I got my Michelins, I don't any more. MPG is about the same as the OEM's. Maybe they are not as great as some people expect them to be but they are much better than I had so I am happy.

I bought a set of the Defenders for my wife's 2001 Ford Windstar. With two young children riding in that van constantly I needed a superior tire, these tires have done nothing but impress me, so far have about 20,000 miles on them and nothing but excellent performance from them. Wet weather traction is amazing, long trips are pleasant and road noise free (the kids can sleep) I believe I will see the full mileage warranty from these.. altogether an awesome tire Michelin, I would buy these again, in fact I have a friend who bought a set for their van after riding in mine, and myself recommending them.

I have a 1999 light weight car with 233,000 miles. I've gone through a few sets of tires by popular manufacturers. My last set was my first Michelin Weatherwise tires. I loved them and got a little over 60,000 miles. I just bought the Defender, not because Consumers Guide rates them #1 but I knew what to expect. Most of my driving is highway. They hug a very wet road and I have no problem negotiating curves on wet or slushy highways. I know that I can depend on them to keep me from sliding on icy roads when I break, much more consistently than other tires. A bonus is better gas mileage. I am very happy with my Michelin Defender tires.
