When it comes time to purchase tires, no need to research tire manufactures, Michelin has them beat hands down. The new Defender tire is superior in every respect, not to mention the support and attention that comes with every tire purchase. Reliability, performance and assurance were the factors that influenced our decision to purchase Michelin Defender Tires for one of our cars. Our second auto will be needing tires by year's end, and once again, the decision has been made, its Michelin all the way!

You might think that you have to sacrifice noise and ride comfort to get a tire with such a long tread life. Not the case. I drive a rear wheel drive Lexus and the ride is fantastic and the road noise is minimal. Snow and wet traction has been outstanding.

I have been a loyal Michelin consumer for well over 40 years. Personally I would not have any other tire on my three vehicles. Just put a new set of Defenders on my Honda CRV which has 150,000 miles and yes all of them were run on Michelins. If you are looking for tires that offer the utmost in customer satisfaction, look no further than Michelin. For my family's safety, I only buy Michelins.

These tires have been performing as advertised. After the break in period, my wife's car is handling very well for a passenger sedan. Traction is as grippy as we need, and braking has been excellent. The road noise from the tires is minimal, no increase from another brand we had. Wet traction has been as much as I can ask for; that is to say, we barely notice if the road even is wet. No slipping, squealing, or under-steer. If the wear lasts close to the 90k miles, these will be the best tires I have ever owned or heard of for a normal driving passenger car. Period.

We purchased these tires because of the traction they provide. We immediately noticed the incredible amount of noise and vibration they produced. We went back to the retailer to check if they were balanced, defective or out of alignment, it is that bad. At highway speed our entire vehicle shakes. The noise is like an airplane taking off. You can not hear the radio or the other people in the vehicle without almost shouting. I am not exaggerating. I will likely have to re-sell these and take a loss. The noise is intolerable.

I have had Michelin tires on several cars and trucks for many years and to date I have never had not one problem and have gotten over 100,000 miles out of the last two sets on a 6500 lbs SUV I cant ask for anything better than that. Handles great no road noise just cant be beat at any price you may pay a little more at first but after the first set you will see the savings and you Will buy more. If you can buy a better I have never heard of it Period...

These tires have been flawless but for the occasional road hazard that have nothing to do with their performance. They handle well in rain, snow and higher speeds. As long as your due diligence is maintained by proper rotate and balance these tires will get you every bit of 80,000+ miles. Thanks Michelin...

I purchased these tires late last year for my 2000 Nissan Sentra, and from the moment I first drove on them, it was clearly an improved driving experience. These tires simply grip the pavement in a way that my prevous tires did not. I am able to stop short more reliably, and slippage on damp pavement is greatly reduced. I would gladly recommend these tires to all.

It was time to replace the tires on my wife's 09' Nissan Rogue. After researching different tires and manufacturers, I decided on the Michelin Defender. The price was reasonable for what you get. You can't beat the mileage and reputation of Michelin.

The Michelin Defender Tire has been the best tire I have ever driven on. I have had several different other brand name tires and they do not even come close to the defender tire! The ride on the car is smoother and seems to grip on the road with perfection. The tread on the tire is not wearing like other tires. The price of the tires are a little more expensvie but worth every cent! Rotating the tires as recommended by the manufacture will extend the longevity of the tires but even so, the quality of the tires are superior to other brands. I will continue to purchase these tires as I am extremely pleased with this particular product. I would recommend this tire to any and everyone I meet and I have.
