I have bought a set of Defender tires for my Honda Odyssey and my sons Nisan Sentra. The tires provide a very smooth and comfortable ride. Due to my past experience with Michelin tires, I feel confident that my son will be safer on the road. I also talked my in-laws into buying a set for their car. Also, the 90 K mile warranty is great!

We live in upstate NY and needed reliable all seasons that were excellent in harsh weather conditions. These fit the bill perfectly. They provide superior traction for winter driving and transition nicely to spring, summer, fall. You can't go wrong with these.

Bought a set of Defender tires 3 months ago for my 2008 Ford Taurus-X. Best tires I have ever owned (other than Michelin Hydro-Edge I had on my 2000 Ford Windstar) The ride smooth, handle great, and as advertised I can notice that they stop faster than other tires. In a panic stop you can feel the controlled stoping power. Also great handling in the rain and sloppy weather. Again best tires I ever owned, and would definately purchase again.

2700 miles so far on wet and dry roads. Smooth. Very quiet! Quieter than my bald OEM tires with 83,000 miles. Only a slight high pitch whistle on a few surfaces. Most surfaces are noise-free. NO tire squeal at 3 mph turning on asphalt, unlike the OEM tires. Unlike other new tires I have purchased during 43 years of driving, these didn't feel like driving on marbles when first installed. Nice braking on wet pavement. The only negative: They use MORE fuel. My constant 35-37 miles per gallon dropped to 31-35 measured at fill-ups, not the instrument gauge estimates.

I have used this tire for the past year and it is absolutely great. Hugs the road perfectly whether it is wet or dry. I had hydroplaning issues with previous tires and it is nonexistent now. I would not have any other tire on my car. This is used for everyday commuting to work on an interstate. Highly recommend to all!!

I was looking for a tire providing stability and longevity. I am not a car expert and I view the car (and parts) they serve me not the reverse. Obviously I had other tires before but never a Michelin. I did not expect anything much to change and actually had no idea that the commercials had real meaning as most exaggerate. In this case, they indeed made a difference: "the right tires changed everything". I realize I am not too scientific, but I took the time to write because I honestly was able to tell a difference and the rides feel that good. These tires have made the driving secure on an aging car, I had no issues in the rain and the stopping distance has improved. It's been a year since the purchase. They still make me feel I have a "new" car.

I have purchased 2 sets of Michelin Defender's and will continue to use this brand in the future. So far I have about 15k miles on one set and 5k on the other and neither show any real signs of wearing. I believe that Michelin is the best tire available for any vehicle, to be used in most all conditions.

I purchased Michelin Defender tires for my 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid. I was looking for a top notch tire for a low price and I think I nailed it. I purchased these tires about 3 weeks ago and have put about 1,000 miles on them already. They have GREAT handling, GREAT stopping power and somehow they still have low rolling resistance which is felt when the car is in neutral. I immediately felt a difference in the handling and how the car rides with these tires, and after 1,000 miles I'm still loving it. We just got a big snowstorm that came through, and the tires handled it so well, I got to be that guy everyone hates who speeds by. Very impressed and I would buy these tires again in a heartbeat.

I purchased a set of Michelin Defender tires for my 2008 Subaru Outback. After 7000 miles, the tread wear isn't even noticeable. The performance on snow, slush and water is phenomenal. These tires are extremely quiet at highway speeds and handle well on both twisty mountain roads and interstate driving. While they are not a dedicated snow tire, I use them year round in Wyoming winters with the only complaint of moderate ice traction. These tires will be purchased by me again.
