After putting 77K miles (in 3 years) on my set of Michelin HydroEdge tires (they were awesome - they saved my life more than once in irratic traffic), I recently purchased a set of Michelin Defender tires. My CR-V has 180K miles on it (long work commute in intense traffic) and, with the Defenders, it now rides like it was new. Excellent tires! Wonderful, quiet ride. Great in rain. Overall, outstanding! Very pleased with this purchase.

We are getting ready for a 5K mile road trip, and feeling so glad I chose the Defender tires several months ago. In fact, when deciding which car to take on the road trip, we have chosen the car with the Defender tires, so we wont have any worries about the tires. After all, a road trip is about the experience, not about having tire trouble.

I have used Michelin tires for years because I feel that they are the safest tire on the road and I have always had very good luck using them on my vehicles. They provide a very comfortable ride and your mileage will increase per gallon with your personal vehicle and with our motorhome as well.

The Michelins replaced a major brand of tire that was on the car when we purchased it used several years ago. I had suspected, but was not sure that those tires were responsible for a significant amount of road noise. The improvement with the Michelins is truly remarkable! It's like a different car! I've been a fan for many years, and this experience reinforced what I've seen in the past. Keep up the good work.

This is the best tire this vehicle has ever had. After 8000 miles, driving 75% highway/25% rural roads, these have handled all conditions admirably. Though not a snow tire, it handled 6" with fine control. Rain soaked roads are not even a challenge anymore. And the best part is I don't even know tires are there; totally siient!

Because I travel alone throughout the state for work, having good tires is VERY important to me. The Defender rides well on my Subaru Forester. I drive on all kinds of road surfaces including my 2-mile long pot-holed dirt driveway and the Defender gives me as smooth a ride as is possible, under these conditions. I am also very well pleased with the handling during heavy rainstorms. Besides all that, the tires are not noisy on the highway.

I have an 05 CRV and these are great tires! They really hug the road in dry and wet weather. They give me comfort in knowing if I am running late, I can count on them to grip the road. I also appear to be getting 30 - 40 miles more per fill up than my previous tires also Michelin but a cheaper model.

When I needed to replace my favorite Michelin tires (HydroEdge) on my van, I was told to look at the Defender. Initially, I thought I'd only like a tire with the middle channel, like the Hydroedge. But as I inspected the Defender, I was struck by all the diagonal sipes in the tread. The tire rep. indicated this improves traction & let me tell you, it does! The ride is smoother than ever; braking more under control and I've even experienced a slight improvement in miles per gallon! I am a huge Michelin fan having run them for over 25 years & this may be the best tire yet!!
