I purchased these tires in June of 2013 and absolutely love them! The ride and the quietness of the the tires are unreal. It made a huge difference on my Ford Freestar van. The week after the tires were installed we took a trip to Pensacola FL from Atlanta, GA and the van seemed to ride like new again! What a difference some good tires make. Thanks Michelin!!

These 4 tires are the best Michelins I have had on my vehicle. This is the third set of Michelins, the other two were Hydro Edge, which were excellent as well but did not give the nice ride like these Defenders. The other wonderful difference in these Defender tires is that my minivan handles like it has never handled before in the 22 years I have owned it, since it was brand new. I hope Michelin continues to make the Defender.

My new Michelin Defender tires have been nothing short of excellent. They are a very stable in turns and always give you the feeling of being in control of your vehicle. They handle excellent in snow as I have a front wheel drive vehicle and still have good traction during the seasons. It also grips the road well when conditions are wet and a 90,000 mile tread life made them a no brainer. Thanks for your creation of this tire!

I have about 6000 miles on these tires and the tread looks much like new still. I purchased these in early Spring and had a late snow, the tires did well in this wet snow but not as well as my Winter tires would have. I am a spirited driver who was unhappy with my warmer month tires before but now with the Defenders I am a happy driver again. My old tires would easily loose grip in hard cornering, the Defenders love to be cornered hard. The Defenders slice through puddles without jerking the car violently or hydroplaning, expressway speeds in rain feel very safe. A few days ago a deer stepped out in the road in front of me and I jammed the brakes on, I was impressed on how little my anti-lock system had to work with these tires, the car stopped much shorter than my old tires would have. Road noise is an area where my review would be mixed. These tires can be very quiet on some roads and get kinda noisy on others. These are tires well worth using, if you find one of those noisy roads, turn the music up and enjoy.

I have Michelins on both my vehicles. I drove on tires well passed their useful life and waited 2 months until the Defender arrived in my tire size (the model just came out). I use them on the 1998 Civic my daughters drive so I wouldn't put anything on that vehicle I didn't fully trust. The prior Michelins on the Civic lasted a long time and I never had a flat or problem with them. The Defenders have proven to be reliable so far - I have had them less than a year.

These tires are performing fantastically on my minivan. I never knew that such a great tire existed and regret not having such a tire installed on my vehicle before. It performs well in all conditions, including the terrible downpours that have plagued the area I live in. I never felt safer and more sure in my vehicle since having the Defender installed on my minivan. The precious cargo, my young twin daughters, are really appreciative of this tire too.

When I was a young driver back in 1969, my father thought me that probably the one most important safety items of a car is its tires. By having good tires you not only minimize the risk of catastrophic unexpected tire failure but also the inconveniences with it. I have always tried to go with Michelin whenever possible as I feel I can trust my family's safety in doing so. This has been the safest tire I have ever owned on A car. I purchased last fall and just in time for the weather to change, the hugged the road and like I said I felt so safe knowing these tires were on my car. If I ever needed to purchase tires down the road these would be the one's I Would buy again!!!

I had the tires installed about a year ago, 20,000 miles...They appear to wearing evenly, but there is a lot of road noise after the last tire rotation. I went back to the dealer, and I was told everything was fine and maybe due to them being hard tires!!

I just got these Defender tires put on. I can feel the diffrence as soon a I drove the car. Wet traction is great with thse tires. No tire noise either. Stopping is alot better with these. Only put your family on a set of these great tires. You want be sorry.
