I am only 4000 miles into my defenders at this time. I can say that I noticed an immediate improvement in handling when traveling the local roads that are definitely not straight lines. If past experience with Michelin tires holds true I expect to be riding on these tires for a very long time.

The Defender tires where installed on my wifes Subaru Outback. Within minutes of leaving the tire shop I was impressed. We have had these tires for about 10,000 miles and I have no complaints. We have seen improvements in handling and traction. I will buy another set of these next time. They are a little costly but you get what you pay for.

I cannot believe the tires have dry rotted to the point of me hacing to put air in them every three days. They are 2 years old!!!. I stay on the road so there is no sitting to rot!!!. Now at 2 years and 38k miles on them I have to get them REPLACED SOON!! SO MUCH FOR BEST And WARRANTY!

We travel to Mexico and back or to Santa Fe and back to the north east US coast nearly every winter. We travel 8,000 miles at least in two weeks. We have to have a tire that will not let you down in severe driving conditions on the winter snow and ice or on bad roads or in difficult driving conditons. Our Michelin Defender tires make the car very easy to handle, comfortable and smooth and they seem to comfortably manage any driving condition we have come up against. We do not want a flat in a foreign country, for example, and we have never had a problem with Michelin tires.

We installed these tires on our Sienna minivan and so far we are very happy with them. Very good performance in rain, low noise, good braking, comfortable, and no loss of fuel economy. We have dedicated snow tires so I cant comment on their performance in the snow. All in all, these tires seem to be an excellent all around tire as they do everything well.

Bought these tires as other name brand tires on new car only lasted about 20,000 miles. These Michelin defenders are much smoother ride, and a lot better in the rain at highway speeds......besides having a 90,000 warranty. My daughter just got a new car. We sold her tires immediately, and I bought her a set of Defenders.....now everybody is happy and safer in the rain at highway speeds..

I put 4 Defenders on a 2007 Accord (16") and have been very happy with them. I have had excellent experiences in rainy conditions and dry conditions. The tires grip the road when turning and braking. The Accord has a lot of road noise but the tires don't make any peculiar sounds. I very rarely get some slippage when accelerating from a stop and turning at the same time. Overall I highly recommend them.

I purchased the Defender line of Michelin tires as a replacement set for a Volve V70 XC. The car is used for fairly long commutes. The first thing that I noticed was that the comfort of ride immediately improved upon buying the Michelin's. Road noise and road vibration was significantly reduced. The next measurement of improvement over previous tires was road handling and reduced stopping distance. I haven't really had a chance to measure fuel economy, but I believe that I will also see and improvement in that category as well. I am thoroughly satisfied with this produce and highly recommend that anyone give strong consideration to buying Michelin Defender model of tire.

It was nearing winter and we live in the upper Midwest. My car's original tires were not handling well in either the rain or the snow, so I knew it was time to purchase new ones. After checking reviews my husband suggested we buy the Michelin Defenders and we are so glad we did. They have helped my car deliver a safe and quiet ride. We've recommended them to others in our family and will buy them again.

In our family we have 3 cars and a newer SUV. I have been purchasing Michelin tires for may years and had HydroEdge tires on the three cars and was very satified. Great performance in wet weather and were a good all season tire. They were a little noisy in wet weather, however they gripped the road. When I needed to replace my HydoEdge tires with 76000 miles on them before last winter on my 2006 Camary, I was told that the HydroEdge was being phased out. The tire shop recommended the Defender. I now have 30,000 miles on this set of tires and they still look brand new. They handle great in the snow last year and provide me the same confidence in wet weather. I just replaced the HydroEdge tires on my 2001 Camary with the Defenders. I am sure " I will be back" when I need to replace my tires on the newer SUV
