I absolutely love Downy April fresh! I've been using it for many years now, and it has always been part of my laundry routine. It makes my clothes, sheets and towels really soft, and the scent lasts for such a long time. It's definely worth the money!!

My first positive impression came from the scent. It's not a harsh, chemical perfume but a clean, soft, and genuinely fresh aroma that lingers beautifully on clothes, towels, and bedding. My closet smells like a serene meadow, and I often get compliments on how fresh my clothes smell hours after I've put them on. But Dawny is more than just a pleasant smell. The softening power is remarkable. My towels, which had become a bit stiff over time, regained their fluffy, spa-like softness after just one wash with Dawny. My everyday cotton t-shirts and jeans feel noticeably gentler against my skin, without any waxy or sticky residue that some softeners can leave behind.

I used container of Downy Ultra Soft Calm Liquid fabric softener - excellent results - great satisfaction - no complaints/problems. Downy Soft April Fresh product turned to thick, slimy goo, built up in dispenser receptacle causing thick, slimy gooey backed-up mess -threatened to block dispenser - difficult to remove. I will not purchase the Downy Soft April Fresh product, wouldn't recommend it.

I love this fabric softener for its light floral scent. The strength of the scent isn't too crazy. And it has the perfect concentration for a full load. The tip of the dispenser makes it easier to pour into my laundry dispenser. I love to pair it with the scent.Beads and the tide downey. I reccomend for a light yet nice scent.

Can't beat the smell!!!! This stuff is so strong and smells AMAZING and the freshest scent out there. Leaves my clothes soft and moisturized. I will forever keep using this! Best fabric softener on the market. Can't beat the value for the amount you get either

I really liked the April Fresh scent because it was not very overpowering. I grabbed a new bottle at the store and when I pulled my clothes out of the washer I was disappointed that they smelled different. My last bottle did not have the fabric protect and the new one does. I'm beginning to think that changed the scent... Either way, I'm very disappointed and will have to go back to my Downy free. I liked having just a touch of scent to my clothes and this is definitely not what I wanted.

I REALLY MISS THE ORIGINAL APRIL FRESH SCENT DOWNY I GREW UP USING I'M 50 YRS OLD. THE NEW DOWNY IS A LITTLE TO PERFUME AND IT JUST TOO LOUD OF AND ODOR,WHERE AS THOUGH THE ORIGINAL WAS PLEASENT TO SMELL . PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL DOWNY EVEN FOR A LITTLE WHILE.

april fresh can mean many things to many people. A clear scent of rain, lovely scent of flowers, whatever. Whereas, the Original Scent was a tried and true product. Have no idea why downy felt they had to change from Original Scent to april fresh. Please bring the Original Scent back; otherwise, I will have to go back to using another company's dryer sheets.

I have used Downy all of my life, the type that came to be known as April Fresh, which was a product that my Mother used since well before I was born! I used to get compliments from people all the time about how good my clothes always smelled, and I was always happy to pass along that it was all due to Downy. It always worked wonders at softening my clothes. I don't understand why such a fantastic product was ever changed. The smell is nothing like it used to be, and it does not last nearly as long. It doesn't soften nearly as well either, and I find the buildup in my fabric softener dispenser to be very annoying. The other new scents are too overpowering to consider using. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE bring the old formulation back! A lifelong Downy user is being forced to switch to another brand - something I would never have considered doing before.

I've switched to another brand of liquid softener since the transition from the original Downy, through the scent bead migration, and now what can only be described as a joke product April Fresh with fabric protect. Oh and it's no longer fabric softener, it's fabric conditioner. What a waste of marketing. Let's make Downy great again America! Also either bad programming or skewing, i gave this product the one star it does not deserve and my android is turning it into four. liars.
