My husband works with a smelly chemical for his job which leaves his work clothes smelling terrible. I used to have to wash them two or three times to get the smell out, but after using Downy just once they are clean, fresh and soft... ready for him to wear the next week for work! Downy is my go to fabric softener and freshener! I was lucky enough to try this product for free, but all opinions are my own.

Downy helps to keep my laundry soft and looking good. The product was easy to use, and my hubby even commented on how great everything smelled. I will definitely be using this again.

However, I felt the fragrance was overpowering and lingered longer than what I expected. I would recommend Downy, but hope they lessen the amount of fragrance.

I've bought this product several times. I love the smell of it especially because it last on your clothes. I was just wondering if anyone else has had problems with it though if you don't use it for a while. The liquid has turned into lumps, has anyone else have this problem?

This April Fresh scent is perfect for all year round to keep the smell vibrant and clean. The fabric conditioner protects my clothes for me. Knowing how cheaply made clothes can be, Downy looking out for maintaining the quality of my clothes is very important to me.

I just didn't think it was a "necessity." However, I noticed our clothes looking duller and wearing out more quickly. Growing up my mom always used Downy so when I decided to start implementing softener back into our laundry routine it was my obvious go to. I am not crazy about the April Fresh scent but our clothes were noticeably softer and fresher and hold their quality longer. I won't be trying to skimp on fabric softener any longer and our clothes are thanking me.

The only fabric softener I will use. Nothing else leaves clothes as soft or smelling as good as Downy ( original) does. I can leave an underneath piece of clothing in my bedroom to dry and I will smell the Downy for days - I left the item up for 3 days last time but I'm thinking of leaving something out indefinitely as a test to see how long I can smell the Downy.

I received this bottle of Ultra Downy April Fresh liquid fabric softener for free - to try out and share my personal opinion. The scent is aromatic but not overpowering. It freshens up my entire kitchen as well as the laundry. I experienced no skin irritation or other adverse effects. My clothes came out of the dryer freshly scented and soft. I just wanted to buy my face in them and forget about the folding. I am glad I had the chance to try April Fresh, and will be definitely buying a new bottle once I'm done with this.

I started using the Downy Ultra when my sweaters and tee shirts were getting stretched out of shape. I use this now on all my clothes and they are looking nice and smell really good. I do not have my tops looking all crooked and shrunken. My husband really likes his t-shirts rinsed with Downy Ultra. He asked me what i was doing to keep his t's from shrinking and i told him I was using Downy Ultra and he said keep using it so he doesn't have to keep buying shirts. They come out of the laundry looking just as good as when i bought them. i would not use any other brand for my clothes. great results.

The product works super! I haven't used a fabric softener in a long time (i have only ever used Downy) and this truly worked beyond my wildest dreams. The smell is heavenly and the softness of the clothes were great!! I would certainly purchase this product!!! I will recommend and tell family and friends about this product.
