[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never been much of one to use fabric softener or add-ins in my laundry. I was ready to try some though to help make my bedding, sheets and quilts softer. The Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Enhancer smells clean and fresh. My quilt does feel softer and I hope it continues to get softer and softer after each use. I would like to see Downy make more natural enhancers, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. If you want your quilts softer and fresher then this is the stuff for you!

Following the directions based on washer loads, I don't feel as if my clothes were coming out with the April-freshness the product promises. Perhaps it's something to do with my water or I need to adjust how much I use. Just wasn't terribly impressed with the product.

Ultra Downy in the April Fresh scent is seriously one of the more wonderful scents they have come up with. This version of Downy does its job, as always, with a clean fresh springlike smell that makes everything soft and wonderful to wear. Love this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this fabric softener. Left my clothes feeling super soft and so amazingly fresh. My clothes have a great scent, that lasts for days. All of my friends are asking me what do I use in my laundry.

I am not a fabric softener user, but I received this product for free from influenster. It came at the perfect time, my daughter and her family had a flood in their apartment and had to stay with us for a week. They brought their new baby and their two dogs with them and after a week of all of them sleeping together my bedding did not have the greatest odor. I washed three comforters, a set of sheets and pillowcases and used Downy in each load and everything came out smelling so fresh and amazing. I have already purchased a full size bottle. Even though I received my sample for free my opinion is my own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Downy April Fresh Liquid Fabric Conditioner, is WONDERFUL!! I tried it recently and fell in love with it. Of course the smell is wonderful and last about 2 days, but it also helped my clothes feel soft again. I also noticed that I did not have has much static with my clothes. If you get a chance definitely try this product! You will enjoy it.

I have used Downy for so long - until they changed the scent from the original April Fresh to this gross smell! They call it “floral” - but it definitely doesn't smell like any flowers I've ever smelled lol. Sooo many people have complained about the change, hard to imagine why they refuse to switch back?? I would recommend Gain over any of the current Downy scents.

I couldn't have been more wrong! I was pleasantly surprised at the noticeable difference the fabric enhancer made in regards to the softness and scent of my laundry. The scent is fresh, but not overpowering. The clothes are noticeably softer. And most importantly, there was zero static cling! This product is a win for me and will become a staple going forward.

The moment that I opened this the scent hit me and I was in love. Downy April fresh smells so good, that I couldn't wait to wash clothes so I could use it. A capful is all you need! My clothes are so soft and smells like a bed of fresh Spring flowers . 2 weeks later and my clothes still smell wonderful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Downy has quite a few claims regarding the benefits: Softens, freshens, reduces wrinkles, reduces fuzz and pills, prevents static, keeps colors bright. On some it is hard to tell if makes a substantial difference but it seems to work. I washed a sweater recently that previously came back from the cleaners a touch faded and a little pilly. The next time I washed it myself and used Downy. It looked good after the wash. I was afraid it would further fade or pill more but it did not and if anything looked a little better. In general, the reduced static and fresh scent are very noticeable benefits. While hard to tell if there are less wrinkles, and reduced fuzz and pills, I am not noticing wrinkles and fuzz/pilling problems so it is difficult to argue that it does not work. For the more obvious benefits alone it is worth it. A little goes a long was as opposed to some of the cheaper fabric softeners out there and if you get some of the other benefits over time it is an added bonus.
