As other reviewers have said, we should have put it out closer to Halloween. It looks great until a section burns out and the whole thing starts to have problems lighting up. Perfect timing as Halloween is a week away and the product is sold out. Time to put it back in the box and return it. Stay away from this product!

Came on here to see if anyone else had problems and sure enough yesterday a review was posted with the same problems we have had! Lights started going out all over the web, area was burned out and we are lucky it didn't start a fire! We will be contacting Sam's to arrange to return it! Very disappointed!

We were super excited about this spiderweb - but after spending an hour and change assembling the item, we plugged it it in only to find that a section of the web doesn't light up. The customer service call center offered nothing other than an apology and a suggestion that we return the item to the club - however, they're already sold out and that does nothing to help a four year old who's in love with this thing. Disappointing experience all around.

The other posts saying this thing burns up are NOT lying or exaggerating. I came home after having this out after two weeks to all the spider lights being out and the rest being very dull. As I got closer I could smell rubber burning, and found one of the orange “webs” completed burned , smoking and turned to clear goo. Thank goodness it didn't burn down my whole house. Will be looking for a full refund for this fire hazard ASAP.

At first we loved this spider web. Then some of the strips of lights started to go out. The spider web still looked okay so we didn't mind. Then more of the lights went out. I tried see if maybe the lights weren't connected. When I did this the area that was out started to smoke and then was on fire. Luckily I was able to unplug it and stop the fire. Please don't buy this. I contacted Sams Club and they are aware and did not seem that worried. In store refunded us.

I bought this the middle of August. It was set up beginning of October it was fine for approximately 3 weeks one night it lit I went back outside it was off completely, tried different cords with no luck then the next day it would flicker like it was going to light but it didn't then a week later plugged it in and lit with one section not lighting tried touching different spots to see if there was a short and it flickered in the section that wasn't lighting then it melted a hole through the rubber covering where the led lights are located and it started a small flame and was smoking. This is very poorly made as I've read many reviews with issues with lighting, these should be recalled before one causes a house fire. I'm heart broken because I loved the beautiful color and brightness. I hope they make more but better quality next time.

Display was lit for a total of 84 hours before a section of the lights burned out. Unfortunately this product was designed with led strip lighting for the most part.... so maintenance such as this cannot be performed. Decoration looks pretty stupid now.

The Sams store display was fantastic we and bought as an addition to our Halloween display. Instructions for assembly were clear and the spider web was labeled to correspond with directions. 45 minutes later we were set up and ready to turn on! Unfortunately NONE of the lights came on. We triple checked all of our connections. All tested positive for a power connection, including the spider web itself but no lights. No resolution from the manufacturer other than to return to Sams. As it was a spur of the moment purchase with negative results, googled reviews of this product. Same issues with others. On a further note, packaged securely upon purchase, no damage upon unpacking or done during assembly, simply a defective product in our opinion.

Looked amazing for 3 weeks then the outlet GFI tripped. Reset it and found the lower left section struggling to light up. Watched as that section slowly went out and one diode near the center of the web slowly darkened and melted the inside the tubing under the orange rubber. Then while standing there I saw the upper right start to do the same thing. I unplugged it and now face the challenge of taking it apart and back to Sam's Club. Ticks me off it's Two before Halloween and the fact that it could have caused a fire.

This product looked incredible for around three weeks. Then my husband noticed a section wasn't lighting and the spiders weren't lit. We went out to take a look and saw smoke and smelled plastic burning. We found one of the lights had melted into the plastic tubing. We're lucky it didn't start a fire. Even worse, we broke down the box so there's no way to return it to the store. I wish I could give zero stars.
