I am trying to like this.

When I was diagnosed with Collagenous Colitis, Bone Broth was highly recommended. I ordered these and tried making a "soup" with gluten free noodles. I thought it would taste like regular chicken broth, but I was wrong. I "doctored" it up and I did enjoy it after the right mix was found. It is something that you need to get used to, but it is doable.

No onion

It's absurd that onion free bone broth is so rare. This is essentially the only brand in existence and it's basically a seasonal item for some reason. I had like 50 in reserve thinking that would last the next time it was out of stock, but this time it's been out for a long long while.

Misleading Labeling

Better than chicken broth, much richer. I can understand why some people do not like the taste. It's not for everyone. Product has very misleading labeling. The label says "No added MSG." Yeast Extract is MSG. MSG goes by many names. A lot of people cannot consume MSG so if you are one of them, proceed with caution.

Healthy, organic bone broth!

This organic bone broth is a good value - I go through a lot of it. If you fast or are on a keto diet, this is a healthy necessity. I sip it for breakfast or as the last "meal" of the day, and sometimes use it in soups to richen up the flavor. It is not an artificial-tasting stock, so it might take some getting used to at first. I sometimes cut my broth with about 1/3 water and a bit of salt to lessen the potency of taste and extend the product. I hope Sam's never gets rid of this!

Excellent Soup Base

I was skeptical, but tried this for my favorite soup recipes, and it was really good! I think the soups taste even better than usual. I don't know what some people were complaining about in some reviews. It is not just broth, but is bone broth. More protein and tastes better in my opinion.

How bad can broth taste?

If you want the answer to that question, go ahead and buy this. I've previously purchased Walmarts brand of bone broth, which is fine. I even make mine own regularly. This is dark brown and bitter. I don't know if it's the colorings they add that gives it the taste or what. But I'm really sorry that I now have 5 more of these cartons to use because even trying to doctor it up with a bit of different seasonings, it still just tastes bitter.

No Flavor compared to previous version

This new version of Organic Chicken broth is horrible. We had the previous version and compared side by side. There is no comparison! The previous version is full of flavor. This new version is not much more than tap water....and I think it is more expensive than the previous version. See Photo for comparison. SAMS CLUB: PLEASE BRING BACK ORIGINAL VERSION!!!

Bad taste

Not sure how others find this tasteful. I poured a cup and heated it up and it looked and tasted like weak, bitter coffee. I thought maybe it was just me. I had the whole family taste it. I'm sad that i 7.5 cartons left. It's better to buy the chicken and throw the veggies in yourself. I've been sick and didn't have energy to do that so i hoped that this could be a quick fill in until i felt better. Won't buy again.

Tastes burnt and has a metallic taste to it.

This is by far the worst Member's Mark product I've ever purchased. I just spent hours making a chicken stew and I poured in the chicken bone broth at the end and it RUINED my chicken stew. It tasted burnt and had a metallic taste to it. Now I'm going to have to bring pizza to my card game tonight instead of homemade chicken stew. I'm very disappointed! Perhaps I just got a bad batch but I know I will never use this again. Fortunately, Sam's Club was good to deal with and offered me a full refund. I will continue to use the regular Member's Mark Chicken Broth.
