I have been huge fan of this creamer for a while now, telling everyone about and converting some of my dairy consuming friends. I was really happy to see the creamer carried in more stores more recently. Unfortunately, with the change in the bottle I have also noticed a drastic change in the consistency of the creamer. It used to be thick and rich, it is now watery, much like the other non-dairy creamers I refuse to buy, and unsatisfying. I am hoping this is a temporary issue :(

Califia Farms recently changed the formula of their vanilla almond/coconut creamer. They also changed the packaging of the product to a nice looking plastic container. Here is the rub - The new container capacity has been reduced to slightly over 25 ounces and the price of the product has been increased. I do not care for the taste of the new formulation. I wish they would return this product to a purely almond milk creamer that would not contain any saturated fat. I have switched to another brand of creamer.

I have been buying this creamer for years, it's the only creamer I use. The latest bottle I purchased has a terrible taste, I originally thought I had a bad bottle and then I realized it is a new recipe. Somehow the new recipe has more calories, more sugar, and tastes significantly worse than the original. I'm sure it's cost related but why would you replace coconut cream with sunflower oil and vanilla extract with natural vanilla flavor?? A good thing has been ruined and I won't be buying again.

This product has gone from a 5 star (with a few inconsistencies with it's consistency) that had the perfect balance between almond, coconut and real vanilla. Now, it's WAY TOO SWEET, it tastes "fake", it's more sugar and calories and has palm oil...blech. Please bring back the previous formula with the coconut milk and real vanilla!

My son is celiac and lactose intolerant and used to love this creamer. He enjoyed both the unsweetened and the vanilla. However, with the new formula it is absolutely horrible and tastes like trash. As another reviewer mentioned the new formula is inferior in taste and quality while adding more sugar and palm oil rather than the yummy coconut milk. Will surely not be buying Califa creamer any longer with the “new” improved formula.

Was so happy to find original formula last month at my local store. Loved the taste and ability to froth for morning latte and of course, it is dairy free. Unfortunately latest bottle purchased touts new formula with more calories, higher sugar content and higher carbohydrates. Looks like the coconut cream has been replaced with sunflower oil. No Bueno. Why would you do this??

Bought this last week. It is watery and just tastes sweet. The original flavor had a thicker creamy texture and a prominent French vanilla flavor. The old formula resembled cream in hot drinks. This new formula has the consistency of regular almond milk and makes the hot drink look watered down. The new recipe is not an improvement to me.

I miss the old recipe where the bottle had more blue than white. This new bottle mostly white that is now labeled as ‘New Recipe' is so watery and tastes different. Bring back the old recipe with the creaminess. I used to rave about this, as it used to be the best tasting non dairy creamer and now I'm back to square one.

Tastes great and much healthier than other creamers!

If you like coffeemate French vanilla this is the replacement creamer for you!!!! This is the only creamer I will use in my coffee now.
