This was my go to creamer for years. It wasn't too sweet and had just the right amount of vanilla flavor. I am devastated by the change in ingredients. There is no coconut cream any longer, it is incredibly sweet, and tastes of chemical vanilla flavor. Very disappointed!

The previous iteration of the creamer was the only creamer I use in my coffee for years. The combination of coconut, almonds and vanilla was rich but well balanced and it didn't irritate my stomach. The new formula is watery in texture and too sweet and artificial tasting. The only positive is it doesn't irritate my stomach but it is not pleasant in my coffee. Please bring back the previous formulation.

I just purchased this creamer today after running out of oatmilk for my daily coffee- saw this was new at my local grocery store and figured I would try something different. Immediately upon opening the creamer, I noticed something was off. I smelled it (since this was the first time having this product ever), and it smelled strongly artificial and had that distinct “chemically” taste. Decided that I would still give it a shot anyways and brewed a cup of coffee. It was way too artificial and had a chemically aftertaste that was even worse than the initial smell- I had to throw it away, it was too bad to keep drinking. This gave me anxiety, thinking something was wrong with mine specifically or maybe I got a bad one. Decided to google simply the product name followed by ‘reviews' and allll these reviews stating and complaining of the same thing popped up. Relieved to know it wasn't just me, but disappointed and honestly concerned this could drive future first time customers like myself.

I have been buying this creamer for years, it's the only creamer I use. The latest bottle I purchased has a terrible taste, I originally thought I had a bad bottle and then I realized it is a new recipe. Somehow the new recipe has more calories, more sugar, and tastes significantly worse than the original. I'm sure it's cost related but why would you replace coconut cream with sunflower oil and vanilla extract with natural vanilla flavor?? A good thing has been ruined and I won't be buying again.

This product has gone from a 5 star (with a few inconsistencies with it's consistency) that had the perfect balance between almond, coconut and real vanilla. Now, it's WAY TOO SWEET, it tastes "fake", it's more sugar and calories and has palm oil...blech. Please bring back the previous formula with the coconut milk and real vanilla!

I've been buying this coffee creamer for at least 3 years now and loved it, until now that is. I would get excited for my morning coffee. I liked the thick creaminess that the coconut cream added and subtle sweetness. This recipe change is more than a disappointment to me. I do it like the consistency or the taste. It is now the same as any of the other vegan coffee creamers out there so why would I spend more for the same? I will now be on the hunt for a new daily love. I also buy the non dairy milks so I'll have to check if that has changed as well. Sad day.

I miss the old recipe where the bottle had more blue than white. This new bottle mostly white that is now labeled as ‘New Recipe' is so watery and tastes different. Bring back the old recipe with the creaminess. I used to rave about this, as it used to be the best tasting non dairy creamer and now I'm back to square one.

Bought this last week. It is watery and just tastes sweet. The original flavor had a thicker creamy texture and a prominent French vanilla flavor. The old formula resembled cream in hot drinks. This new formula has the consistency of regular almond milk and makes the hot drink look watered down. The new recipe is not an improvement to me.

My son is celiac and lactose intolerant and used to love this creamer. He enjoyed both the unsweetened and the vanilla. However, with the new formula it is absolutely horrible and tastes like trash. As another reviewer mentioned the new formula is inferior in taste and quality while adding more sugar and palm oil rather than the yummy coconut milk. Will surely not be buying Califa creamer any longer with the “new” improved formula.

This is my favorite creamer. I love how flavorful and thick this creamer is for being an almond milk creamer. It has a good amount of sweetness, but the sugar is still very low in this product. I wish more stores in my area carried this flavor creamer.
