Pine-Sol has always been my favorite cleaner. However, the new smell is terrible!!! What happened to the original smell? We also use Pine-Sol at dog shelter, noticed the dogs sneeze when we now use Pine-Sol with new smell. Please consider going back to old smell. Thanks LT

The original pinesol was the only thing I used to clean everything with... But the new smell just took all that away.. It leaves a horrible after smell that drives me crazy... I am sorry to say that my household and the women from other familial homes are reduced to other pinestht don't even come close to yours...I hope that one day you bring back the real original.. Until then we will have to make do with the store brands

Also on the new bottle - compared to my older original - it does not say it kills athletes foot (old original does). So what else does the new not work on/kill? Why mess with the original? I think you were trying for Christmas Tree scent to attract all the Glade/Febreeze people instead of honoring thousands of current customers. Don't listen to some new marketing person who went over some numbers and wanted to add customers. REAL SUCCESSFUL companies know to honor and care for current customers and work for them. WE WILL THEN do your marketing FOR YOU by word of mouth. Have a great product and we will do the rest and 'sell it' to others. So new original scent? Fail! If we wanted full on pine we would go Glade or Air Wick etc for air spray or plug ins etc. I like the new but I WANT the old scent!!! You can fix this. Pine Sol Baby!

Well, you have lost a customer of 40 years. I worked my way through my last large bottle of Regular Scent PineSol, the "true" ORIGINAL Pine PineSol. We then bought a bottle of the New "Longer Lasting" scent and we CANNOT STAND IT! Yes, it's definitely a longer lasting scent, over poweringly-pungent and chemical-scented, NOT natural pine!! I will not be back!!!

I love cleaning with pine-sol because of the clean pine smell. I also have always appreciated that the scent does not linger, but dissipates naturally. The new "longer-lasting scent" original pine-sol is awful and smells nothing like the original. I will not use this product, ever, and have dumped the bottle I bought. Please give us back the original formula, or at least offer us the choice of one or the other!

While I love the other Pine-Sol scents, for me, nothing beats the original. I remember the distinct clean smell of my grandma's kitchen after she mopped. When I use it in my home, it instantly takes me back in time. Sounds silly to say that a great cleaning product can also give a warm fuzzy, but it's true with Pine-Sol!

Sorry boys, but your new original scent is a loser! It no longer smells like the original Pine Sol I loved, and really does not last any longer (thankfully!). After more than 20 years of brand loyalty, I will be looking for something else on my next shopping trip. Just as with New Coke, this one should be sent back to the lab. As I was reading the other coments about how the smell reminded them of home I could see my sweet Mama mopping the old floors and specially in the summer with the breeze blowing, smell that clean smell of Pine Sol. It was all she used and it has been handed down from my Grandmama, to Mama to me and now to my daughters. The only thing is I don't think they like the NEW Pine Sol either. So for all of us that the smell makes us think of home a long time ago we would love to have that smell back again. It's probably hard for someone to realize what such memories mean if you still have your Mom. My went home in 2000, but I can still recall those memories! Awww the smell of a clean house, nothing like it!!! Well except for Grandchildren!!!! God Bless

I've used Pine-sol for over 40 years and loved the cleaning power and fresh, clean smell left behind. Wow....I would say that change is NOT always good. I am so dissappointed in this "New Scent" stuff. It actually makes me sick to smell it. I say go back to the old formula. I can't use this!!

Why did you change the smell? This new scent is horrible. I asked family and friends and they hate it. If its not broken why fix it. You should have left it alone. I for one am looking for something else to clean with. After so many years of using Pine sol I am so upset.
