[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is the best. I've replaced many other cleaners with Pine Sol. It works great on both my linoleum & hard wood floors. Plus, as a bonus, it repels flies! I mix it 50/50 with water in a spray bottle & spray it on our deck when we want to sit outside. It keeps the flies away from us! Thank you Pine Sol!

the new longer lasting scent is dreadful. I bought a second bottle just to see if maybe after 30 years of buying this stuff i got a bad batch but nooooo the company really has changed the scent. Change it back, change it back, change it back, please.

I am so disappointed with the new smell and reformulation of Original Pine Sol. I grew up with my mother using the old formula. When I became an adult, that's what I used also. Today I cleaned with the new formula and it has an awful musty smell. My teens also commented how bad it is. They love the old smell too. The new formula does not clean well. It does not leave that fresh clean airy scent. You will loose a lot of customers if you don't bring it back!

I am glad to hear of the pending return of the original Pin-Sol. I agree with many of the other posts that lament the passing of the original scent. When I opened a bottle of the new scented cleaner I found it enjoyable enough, but there are dozens of pleasant smelling cleaners on the market, what I hoped for was the Pin-Sol of my youth. It feels like a New Coke situation. Even Coke-a-Cola made mistakes. I can't wait for Pine-Sol Classic!

I just opened up a new bottle of the original scent and it smells horrible! Its burning my nose! bring me back the old stuff! how can you claim to be the original if you have a new scent? I am a fanatic for the old stuff. Craved it when I was pregnant with my daughter and use it DAILY. This new stuff has got to go. I have two children and I trust pine sol to disinfect more than any other cleaning product. But if I can't find the old scent I will be switching to mr. clean :( That makes me so sad because this is the smell of my childhood.

Was looking to replace a bottle of another favorite cleaner, but could not find it at my favorite box store so I decided to purchase a bottle of original scent pine-sol. Imagine my delight when I went to clean and discovered an awesome new scent. I love this!. It made me want to clean my whole house just to have it smell nice. I will be buying this product from now on. Good work people.

I will never buy Pine Sol again unless you put it back the way it was!! I went to the store picked up a bottle, smelled it and knew something wasn't right. l looked at the label and it said "NEW". I put it back! It used to have 8.7% pine oil. Now it says contains pine oil. I have used this all my life. I'm 46, my Mom is 74, my aunt is 80. All we and other family members have ever used is Pine Sol. We will not buy Pine Sol products again. You have products with different smells. Why did you change the original? Maybe it was to make more money by using less pine oil...I think your going to loose money and life long customers. One more thing that has been lost to big business. Please put it back the way it was.

I used to use Pine-Sol original all the time! It reminded me of my childhood plus it smelled wonderful! But I just can't use the new one... the smell gives me a headache! It makes me sad to not be able to smell the glorious familiar scent that I've grown accustomed to! Please bring back the real original!

Pine-Sol has always been my favorite cleaner. However, the new smell is terrible!!! What happened to the original smell? We also use Pine-Sol at dog shelter, noticed the dogs sneeze when we now use Pine-Sol with new smell. Please consider going back to old smell. Thanks LT

I had Pine-Sol on my list, and bought some, making sure I bought the brand name Pine-Sol, not an inferior, cheap, imitation product. When I opened it and used it, I thought I must have accidentally bought the wrong brand. I knew instantly that the scent was not right. Instead of the rich, pine scent I had known for years, I smelled a weaker pine scent, along with a scent that reminded me of an old service station restroom. It also did not seem to be cleaning as well. While I was cleaning, I glanced at the bottle and saw that it was indeed really Pine-Sol brand. I started to worry that someone had "messed up Pine-Sol". When I could, I read the label and saw that it said "new longer-lasting scent". Well, it's a longer-lasting scent all right, but I just wanted it to go away. I feel that it's false to refer to it as original, when it is not at all the same. I'm disappointed and will have to start shopping for another brand, as it seems that my favorite cleaner no longer exists.
