We ran out of our supply of Pin-Sol and restocked at our local supermarket only to find the original scent had been changed. We should have been forewarned on the label. There are few perfumes that I can tolerate...especially artificial scents. They actually nauseate me, and this one lingers and lingers. The original pine scent of Pine-Sol is about the only one I actually enjoy smelling. This new scent is just wrong. We had to give the bottle to a local thrift store in hopes that it might still be useful to someone. I'm sure it still cleans as well as the origianal. I suspect the change was made to increase profit. Well... not from us anymore. I hope someone at Pine-Sol is collecting sales data on the "Original" product. It is used slowly, so a drop in sales may not be immediately evident, but until the label says "Original Pine Scent", we aren't buying.

I am 54 years old and my mother always used Pine-Sol. It was such a clean smell. When I married, over 32 years ago, I too used Pine-Sol and nothing else. I felt my home was clean and I could smell it. Anyone who came by would comment on how clean the house smelled. The other day I needed more Pine-Sol and when I got it home and started cleaning I could not figure out why I smelled something unpleasant. So I emptied my water, and started over. Imagine my surprise when I figured out it was my beloved Pine-Sol that was unpleasant. I was ready to return it to the store when I noticed the label saying "last longer". Once again something that is supposed to be improved has been ruined. I am so upset by the change. I absolutely hate the smell and am looking for a new cleaner. Please consider bringing back the tried and true, great smelling, Pine-Sol.

I have used PineSol for 48 years as did my mother. Why have you ruined the product? Last month I purchased a bottle and immediately upon opening I knew you have changed the product and not for the better. Now it reeks of a horribly strong patchouli scent and it does not clean well at all. After cleaning the bathroom, we had to open the windows and leave the house for hours. The horrible smell lasted for days. I returned to the store and purchased another bottle of "original" and the same thing happened. I WILL NEVER USE THIS PRODUCT again! I have read many of the reviews here and can conclude that you have lost a lot of your customers.

Please bring back the original scent! The new scent is awful and disturbing and not the original "unmistakable pine scent" Pine Sol, so why label it "Original"? If you cannot use pine oil due to limited supplies, there must be a substitute or similar fragrance as other companies are using to make similar to that great, original Pine Sol scent.

I really hate the new scent of the new & improved pine sol. the scent is horrible not the refreshing scent i grew up with in my family home. it doesn't even smell like pine it smells like that fabuloso stuff, please change it back to the original scent. that new scent is horrible & i i'm sure there are plenty others out there that feel just the same as i do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always have Pine Sol on hand, I stock up and keep at least 3 or 4 of Original and Lavender at my disposal, love that Original can disinfect and love the long lasting scent in the product as well as the visible cleanliness to all surfaces I use it on! Great for use full strength or mixed with water in a glass spray bottle! Not only does it clean but it has kept ants and flies away!

I have always enjoyed the original scent of Pine-Sol but I am highly disappointed that they have changed it's original scent. Why change what has worked after all these years. If they want to keep the new lasting scent...ok...but I wish the original was still available. I always purchased the original because of all pine cleaners it was the most authentic and distinctive. It still cleans effectively, just not the scent of pine.

I bought this new and improved Pine Sol bottle... The first thing I noticed: IT IS NOT PINE SOL ANY MORE!!!! The oil base is gone... Now is like water with fragrance. I do not like the fragrance at all, I felt I was using That product with funny colors and funny fragrances with the flowers on the label instead of Pine Sol. When I opened the bottle and saw how watery is now I asked my husband if he did put water in it...He got mad at me! I was accusing him of ruin the product, then I realized and I saw the truth: the Pine Sol was ruined by the company!!! This new Pine Sol is not good at all!!!! it doesn't clean, it doesn't take the grease off the stove, it doesn't take the dirt off the walls, it doesn't take the soap ring off the tub, it doesn't clean the toilet properly, it doesn't clean the floors. And the smell is HORRIBLE! I had to scrub much more and spend more time doing my cleaning because the product doesn't work... It doesn't! I used Pine Sol as my only one Multi Purpose cleaner... Now I must have to buy the Other product... The one with the flowers on the label, because it does the same as the new Pine Sol and is cheaper!!!! I want the old Pine Sol BACK!!! NOW!!! The company should give us our money back! Such a bad product!

The orginal Pine-Sol smelled great the white water let me know it was working. When I was finished with my house I knew it was clean by the fresh pine smell. Bring back the orginal Pine-Sol and hopefully you will put it in stores not just for on-line purchases. Thanks you Pine-Sol team. From a greatful customer

While I love the other Pine-Sol scents, for me, nothing beats the original. I remember the distinct clean smell of my grandma's kitchen after she mopped. When I use it in my home, it instantly takes me back in time. Sounds silly to say that a great cleaning product can also give a warm fuzzy, but it's true with Pine-Sol!
