I bought this unit as a replacement for one whose fan quit working. So far it keeps a bedroom very cool in 100 degree heat. It is a basic unit with mechanical controls but does what is most important in keeping the room temperature comfortable.

I bought this at the beginning of the summer to replace an old, huge air conditioner. It's fine and produces enough cold air for my small bedroom. I'm happy with my purchase
