I bought this back in May of 2016 and I swear, I haven't been this cold in all my life.. which is a good thing considering it's Summer and I barely break a sweat. Definitely worth the buck.

I bought this unit as a replacement for one whose fan quit working. So far it keeps a bedroom very cool in 100 degree heat. It is a basic unit with mechanical controls but does what is most important in keeping the room temperature comfortable.
