I received this and it does not blow cool air and makes awful noise when the compressor comes on. Have tried to contact about returning it and I get absolutely no answer!!! NOT HAPPY AT ALL

It works nicely. It is quiet as I expected. It does its job. Worth for the Price Tag. However, this is no longer manufactured which indicates, it is a bit outdated model. I would suggest the newer model.

Walmart 2 day shipping is a joke! The product itself was good, but I got the item over 1 weeks later. Item itself has been on 24/7 running perfectly for about 1 month now.

Easy to install. Cools room very well. Recommendation was to use an air conditioner with more BTU's for the room. We chose not to and not regretting it!

Perfect size, works well for our needs. We do not always need to run the central AC, this is the perfect solution to cooling our upstairs bedroom at night.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a simple, magnificent, awesome 5000 BTU window air conditioner! I purposely bought this because of the "old fashioned" knobs, I didn't want digital readout and thermostat in it. I've had problems in the past with other brands where the thermostat didn't work properly and the machine would shut down when it shouldn't have. So nice to just turn it on and it runs until I turn it off. And who needs a remote control for a window air conditioner? Have we become THAT lazy we can't get up, walk over to the machine and switch the controls. Come on people, maybe that is why obesity is rampant in America. All in all a wonderful unit that works great, just check out the amazing reviews and satisfaction of other purchasers too. The simpler the better. Highly recommended!

I bought this air conditioner in June 2019. It ran partly in June, July, and August of 2019. I reinstalled it this year and it ran in June and part of July until it started making awful noises and quit cooling the air entirely. Emails to Frigidaire have gone unanswered. I would not buy this unit, it does not last.

It worked great for 2 weeks! After that something went wrong. Made a large noise turning the temp control dial. Called the company to get a replacement . Very hard to get a new one after working for only 2 weeks. Still I have to send more documents. I'm giving up.

The room that we are cooling is a closed in garage, about 400 square feet. We do have heating and air in this room but it needs a supplement due to not all of the walls being insulated because it was a garage. This air conditioner works perfectly and cools it off plenty.
