I'm impressed by its cooling power, which was said to only be enough for a small room, but has thus far managed to cool my entire apartment in the course of 7-12 hours. The downside to this is that there seems to be a lot of condensation, and there are points where the device seems to slow down for about a half hour or so, and make alarmingly loud noises that had me up in the middle of the night searching for the manual. [Some of the noises weren't listed in 'these are normal noises' section.] But, that seems to come and go, and it does what it's supposed to do. The setting dials are easy to understand, and installation was only the usual mildly-terrifying experience of balancing a heavyish, breakable device in a window sill.

My rooms are small, less than 150 sq ft and the units cool them pretty well after 20 minutes on high, but it has been in the high 90's this week so cooling was definitely a challenge They are easy to assemble and place in the window by myself. My only complaint is that they are a bit noisy.

I'll come home and it'll have my apartment nice and cool at times it will be to cold I'll have to turn the notch down a tad bit I haven't had any problems with this A/C unit hopefully it will last for a few years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second Frigidaire AC unit I have had. The first one lasted 10yrs. It didn't die on me I actually gave it to my roommate. I just thought it was time to replace it. I will never go with another brand, they have proven to me that it will work year after year.

The unit is slightly on the louder side when operating but I love falling asleep to white noise so it is perfect for me. It can only cool down one large room or a couple smaller rooms so only use this in bedrooms but not large living spaces. It is really good at cooling the spaces down and so far has been a reliable product.

I have found it difficult to adjust the fins which control where the cool air is directed. Rather simple but the set up does not allow the air to flow straight out of the unit. Over a fair choice for the price point.

I specifically bought this AC for the size and punch in BTUs. I have recently moved into a new home which has small windows as compared to prewar buildings and houses. I was able to install without the wings and a "life-hack" in a sliding window then added the included foam padding without issue. The filter is very easy to remove and clean. There are screws that can be removed on the sides in order to clean the inside.

You basically have to set it at the highest setting for the condenser to come on. If you have some extra cash, splurge for a digital interface and energy saving options. If you're just looking for a good AC that will stay on all day; well then this one will be just fine.

It's a pretty small unit, so as expected it really only cools down the room that it's in. I've found that putting a small fan in front of it can help move the cold air farther. Overall, it does the job for an affordable air conditioner.
