It was loud when I first turned it on, but the noise disappeared after a while. After almost a month of use, I did notice that the cooling is not as strong as before.

This Unit cools are a nice square footage of space without any problems. It works just fine, and at times I have to turn on lower power or even off because it gets cool.

So far, I'm satisfied with its performance because it cools my bedroom quickly. The only is I wish it was digital, had a timer, and came with a remote. Otherwise, this is a fine A/C for its price.

Can almost see my breath in a 13 x 12 bedroom, definitely blowing cold. I would say it's worthwhile to upgrade, even if bigger, and get a digital temp guage because setting dials is a guess at best if you're sleeping, and some days a wake up warm and others I'm in the tundra

So the downstairs is a wonderful temp., but the upstairs is uncomfortably stuffy. I got this window unit and cannot sleep without it.

Even though the room has a half wall, this model keeps my room nice and cool so I can get a good night's sleep. It's a little noisy - so you have to be okay with more than just white noise.
