Pleasantly surprised with how well this works in my room. It gets cold! It cool the whole room in about 10 minutes. My room is about 15l×10w×8h; length×width×height.

Bought this to use in an upstairs bedroom, for an old 1940's era block house with an aging main AC unit. I took the temperature at the farthest point in the room after running overnight, the temperature in the room was 58.8 degrees. Love it!!

Part of the reason I ordered this unit was its compact size. Though tiny it weighs more than other 5000 BTU units. That in combination with the Frigidaire name adds up to high quality. My husband had it installed within minutes, Thee manual controls are perfect for those of us who like keeping it simple. In our bedroom there will be no pesky digital readout lighting the room. One less energy vampire! So far our weather hasn't warranted the use of an air conditioner, but we did let it run for a few minutes to check it. It's fairly quiet and has good air output. I fully expect that it will do a fine job of keeping our bedroom cool, I'm very happy with my choice to buy it. I definitely think I got the best bang for my buck!

Does not cool the room as I had expected it to, just a sunken room 10x13 and it is closed off with a door from the other rooms in the home..

Just large enough for my kitchen window, where I spend most of my day. With extensions on each side, there was no additional material needed. AC is great.

I purchased this for a disabled friend to help during the heat of summer. After the first unit arrived defective, Walmart quickly sent out a replacement...which also arrived broken! So much for paying extra for a well known brand name, big sigh...

Nice AC for the price. I use it to cool a garage. It is noisy and might cause problems if used for a bedroom. It has not stopped running since being installed. Perhaps I should have purchased a larger unit. It has mechanical controls and we are trying different settings.

I love the Frigidaire brand 5000 BTU window air conditioner unit. It is amazingly compact. It is the smallest window ac I've ever purchased. I had no trouble installing it by myself in my apartment's window. You get detailed instructions and all the necessary hardware. They even provide foam insulation to place around the unit to seal in the cool. This unit works awesome! On a 77 degree day, my brick apartment will heat up to 90. With this unit, my 10x12 bedroom stays icy cool and I can even feel the cool air in the hallway and doorway ofu second bedroom. It's a quiet, effective and efficient powerhouse! It has manual control knobs to control the settings. I purposely chose this model, because it lasts longer and doesn't break down. During the summer, I run my ac all day anyways. Great product. My last Frigidaire ac lasted over 6 summers! Great brand and great product!
