Does not cool room

Hi, Rich125! A 5,000 BTU unit should cool a room up to 150 Sq. Ft. If cold air is being exhausted from the front vent, the AC is working. There are other factors that will cause the room to be too warm even if the AC is cooling. Here are some tips to address your concerns. Set the temperature to a lower setting and position louvers for better air distribution.
