Could be colder

One Problem

It has a slide out filter and their is not enough room to slide it out. Will have to take unit out every time I want to clean the filter. Really Stupid! My GE has a door that opens in front. Who engineered this! Don't buy!

I have concerns...

Hey babyblue, I regret to hear your room air conditioner is only getting the room cool when it is set on max cool. Your room air conditioner is rated to cool a space up to 150 square feet. Is the space to be cooled larger than 150 square feet? If the room temperature is very high, the air exiting the unit may not feel cold. Air exiting the unit is usually between 17°-20°F lower than the Intake air, and may not feel cold to the touch until the room temperature is reduced. The room temperature may be below 70 degrees (21 Celsius). Cooling may not occur until room temperature rises above 70 F degrees. First Air Conditioner Purchase

I bought this over the summer during an unusually long heat wave in Seattle. Due to this little unit I was able to sleep through the night (it is a little loud, but I got used to it). Easy to install.

Cold Room

Powerful Unit

Bought this little unit 4-6 weeks ago to help cool a master bedroom loft that doesn't seem to get cooled by the central air, this unit not only completely cools this room but 1-2 adjacent areas. Great purchase, would buy it again without hesitation.
