This is my "go to" rub for all things beef and pork for our smoker. The overall consistency is a little more course, not a fine powder, which in my opinion gives the meat a better look. Not too spicy but has great flavor. We use is on pork ribs a lot

I have been looking for a cowboy rub since McCormick discontinued theirs. I added a little bit of coffee seasoning and this is so close !

This is good for steaks, chops, and chicken. Have to order in bulk as it's not in stores frequently.

I used this rub for smoking my first whole Brisket. It has great flavor, but I only rated a 4 because I am new to cooking on a pellet grill and haven't tried other rubs. For anyone starting out like I was, I would highly recommend Weber Cowboy seasoning.

I live in south Louisiana. We enjoy hot spices with flavor but this one is only hot without flavor.

This is supposed to be 1 of 4 ingredients for a rub for pork ribs ,I hope the other 2 are more flavorful & add zest.
