still working on flavor!

I didn't read the instructions, so used 12 oz water, so of course, no flavor. I had some Hot Chocolate powder and spooned some in. Did the trick. This time, used 10oz water, same thing. Next time will try advice from other reviewers, use 8 oz water, plus shake the pod before using. I do love the flavor, no aftertaste, so I'm happy!

Clogs Machine!!

These (along with any other instant drinks that come in k-cups) have been banned from our office Keurig! We've shaken the cups well before brewing and ran a clean cycle of water through with no k-cup after brewing each time and the needle stays clogged with goopy instant powder. The taste, definitely better than the cafe escapes hot chocolate. Tastes like hot chocolate mixed with water, pretty weak but drinkable. Although, it does tend to have a very chemical/plasticy after taste. Now we buy the regular envelopes (12 packets for under $2) and just brew hot water for them. Stronger flavor, way cheaper, and not messy at all, unless you open a packet like an overwhelmed infomercial actor spewing its contents all over the place.

Awful...

I received a sample of this with my new brewer and I'm glad I didn't purchase it. The flavor was absolutely terrible-like sweetened chemicals with a hint of chocolate. If I want hot cocoa, I will just buy regular mix and run hot water thru the brewer without a pod.

Awesome Product.

Very awesome product. I have never had any issues with the swiss miss flavor or the keurig not making me a nice hot cup of hot chocolate. I even put a little whip cream on top and enjoy it by a nice fire. For those having issues its not the pods having the issue. You have to make sure you hit the hot chocolate or other button IF your machine has that feature. I know my 2.0 keurig has that button but yours may not. If you dont the keurig MAY act like its plugging up and wont run thru the pod correctly. I just thought i would ad that to my comment to help others out.

Weak, Bad Aftertaste

I have tried another brand of hot chocolate for the Keurig and I found this Swiss Miss at a local store so I decided to give it a try since I like the regular Swiss Miss hot chocolate. This is not my idea of hot chocolate! It is weak, watery, and leaves a bad plastic aftertaste. I had to make the second smallest size on my machine just to get some chocolate flavor through the watery mess. I will not repurchase this and will probably toss the rest of my box. I will buy the other brand that I know makes rich hot chocolate.

Metal Mouth

Just ran out of the regular Swiss Miss mix and bought the K-cups by accident. I thought, no problem, we have a Keurig and I didn't have to go back to return the K-cups. I was so wrong! I have never taste such artificial mash up of nastiness. Looking at the label, it has something surprising, Steviol Glycosides also known as Stevia. This is not mention anywhere at the front or side of the box. Nope, it just says good olde Milk Chocolate. Seems strange, this is not even mentioned as an ingredient on this website. This new and improved flavor even has more calories and sugar than the previous flavor.

Can't complain

There are brewing instructions on the side of box. You MUST use the smallest cup size for the most flavor, otherwise WILL BE WATERY. Personally, I think the Swiss Miss K-cups are fine, but some might prefer more chocolate flavor. However, you could always drizzle a little chocolate syrup in and you'll be good to go! Overall, they taste the same as the packets. Not bad, not mind blowing. Good enough for the moment.

Ditch the artificial sweeteners!!

Love the idea of k-cup hot cocoa, but this misses the mark. It's cloyingly sweet with a very strong aftertaste from the artificial sweeteners. Definitely not something I am comfortable giving to my kids. Would prefer a less sweet option made with real sugar.

True Cocoa Flavor

So glad to see Swiss Miss added to the line of K-cups. It is the same perfect, fresh flavor but without the lumpy, clumpy pouch and a wisk! It's the perfect compliment for the Keurig. Those who say there is not enough flavor may have forgotten it's cocoa - you have to shake the cup before you put it in so that all the flavor flows.

Good for a treat

My husband likes hot chocolate and I do once in a while. The flavor is quite good - creamy and chocolatey and convenience wonderful, but I am not entirely comfortable ingesting artificial sweeteners (Sucralose)and it does leave a little after taste. If you have a sensitivity to artificial sweeteners, then this is something to keep in mind. I think the flavor would be even better without the artificial sweetener.
