Great air flow throughout the lower or upper house where it's olaced

It didn't blow any cool air

I purchased this item, because the top floor of my home is a guest suite and I live in Durango, CO where it does not really get HOT enough to warrant central A/C... unfortunately due to where I live, all the plumbing lines And radiant heating pipes had to be placed between the bottom floor ceiling and upper floor... therefore the guest suite area is ALWAYS warmer then it is outside. The unit works very well as a fan and helps cool down the sleeping area and circulate the air, but the swamp cooler feature doesn't really do anything with regard to cooling down the air flow

This product is not what I was expecting it not cools is most like a fan and is to much money for just a fan..

After receipt, I noted that the instructions recommended cross ventilation to work properly. This was not noted in any of the information provided prior to purchase. It is greatly inconvenient having to keep a window and door open to satisfy this requirement and did little to contribute to cooling the air. Especially in hot weather. For many years, I previously had a more compact unit that used a 1 quart water bottle. It ran efficiently without having to worry about cross-ventilation and made a 10 degree cooling difference. Unfortunately for me, this unit is heavier and cumbersome. The 2.5 gallon base put too much moisture in the room and although I added ice, it became uncomfortably warm and muggy. I tried working with it for a few days, but eventually gave up. It now sits in the garage.

This is not a cooler at all! if you need humidity in any room, this is the product for you.

I was very disappointed in my Cooler because the pump wasn't working. It wouldn't pump the water over the honeycomb to be cooled. Ended up being an expensive fan. However, Walmart is taking it back and giving me a refund, so all's well that ends well.

Very Disapointed in product. Dosen't cool enough.
