LG 350 Blu-Ray Player

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this Blu-Ray Player to replace one I had in my living room. I was surprised by how small it was in comparison to other players. It was easy to set up and it gives your movie a lot of clarity. I really like the Streaming capabilities.The thing I don't like is , it doesn't have a counter to let you know the play time.

Search/Browse function always won't work

It is a great system in picture quality and overall performance for movies, etc. But I'm giving it only 2 stars due to the following issue: In YouTube while searching or browsing the search results, it crashes often and we could not select a new movie to watch! The issue continued even after re-installing their software, etc.

Buffers constantly

I just purchased this 2 days ago. It was fine the first night. The next day I noticed that it constantly buffers. I can't watch 2 minutes of a show. I don't have this issue with any other product that I use with my Internet connection. The remote is slow to respond. You have to push the button more than once. I'm probably going to return and get something else. It is easy to set up. It is small and looks nice but the buffering is annoying.

Where's the MAC?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought this today. Pretty slick player except for one thing: no MAC address. Well at least not easily accessible. LG expects you to make your router open to any device (so it can be logged in to your WiFi). Only when it's logged in can you see the address. Seriously? If you use a MAC filter you'll have to disable it in order to connect.

Not overly impressed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this thing for couplenmonths now. Try to watch Amazon prime and get kicked out of after 5 min. Netflix runs fine remote only works half the time. I wouldn't buy again. Maybe higher priced models better made but don't really expect it

Amazing

Great Blu Ray Player

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was given to me as a gift to replace an older DVD player(also an LG) . My TV is Smart capable but it needs a dongle , however with this player plugged in I'm able to access all the smart functions as well as it being an excellent Blu Ray player

Blu-ray problems

I am very happy with this model. With regular DVDs, I just pop it in - regardless of region - and it plays, no problem. Most of my blu-rays work that way, too. However, I have some Region A titles (Quadrophenia, Support Your Local Sheriff, Support Your Local Gunfighter) that keep giving me a message about the wrong region. I went into Settings, made sure the Area Code was US, but it didn't work. What else do I need to do?

NEVER STOPS "READING" DISC, THEN EJECTS

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. TRIED SEVERAL DVD'S - BLU-RAY AND NON BLU-RAY, OLD AND NEW. DOESN'T WORK. OH - AND IF YOU DON'T OWN A COMPUTER, NO OWNER'S MANUAL FOR YOU!!! LAZY CHEAPSKATES. THESE MANUFACTURERS INCREASINGLY JUST KEEP CHEAPING OUT. MY OLD LG DVD PLAYER LASTED FOR YEARS WITH HEAVY USE. THE ONLY REASON I GAVE THIS PIECE OF JUNK EVEN 1 STAR IS BECAUSE IT POWERS UP. THAT'S ALL IT DOES.

Disappointed

I have an LG Blu-ray Player but it would hang up and I would have to unplug it to get it to work again. So, I purchased this new one - LG because my TV is LG. This new Blu-ray player has the same problem as my other one. It will hang up and will do nothing. You have to unplug it - can't turn it off even when I have completed my viewing. I have to unplug it to turn it off! Very disappointed with LG - my TV has worked perfectly.
