As I was picking up the jar of Ragu off the store shelf I noticed the label saying "Improved Recipe". That always makes me nervous when I see that on items I have been loyal to for years. After bringing the jar home and trying it I wished I would have left it on the shelf. I also wished I would have pulled out my phone at the store and read the online reviews before buying it. I used it in a recipe I have made for years and it was awful. I have eaten this sauce my entire life- it was so close to my Italian grandmother's recipe. Will not be buying it again. I cannot understand why companies try to fix what is not broken- good way to lose lifelong loyal customers.

Ragu spaghetti sauces have been the only brand of spaghetti sauce our family has used for the better part of 40 years. Over the last few months, our entire family has commented that something does not seem right with the flavor and body of the meals prepared with Ragu. The flavors are not as deep and the eating dishes appear to have more liquid left. I finally did a general internet search to see if it was just our family who was noticing this. Guess what Ragu, we aren't the only ones. Looks like you have changed something and it has a lot of your customers upset. Our family have made the decision this evening to no longer purchase Ragu products.

Our family has eaten spaghetti with Ragu Old World Style Traditional sauce about twice a month for over 20 years. It was the first thing I made my husband as a young newlywed. It was the first meal I made my family in every house we have ever lived in. That tradition is ending for us. We have tried to like the new recipe, but I'm tired of throwing out leftovers that no one wants. I won't be buying the sauce again unless you go back to the original recipe. This change was a major fail.

I refuse to buy anymore Ragu sauces - I miss the traditional taste. I was a long-time consumer of Ragu spaghetti sauce no matter the price difference between Ragu & Prego. I have added extra spices but no matter what that sour taste remains. I used to look forward to making spaghetti as a quick delicious dinner but not anymore. I have had to throw out Ragu leftovers because my family refuses to eat it. Please go back to the old recipe.

I use it as a base and then add more stuff in it to my taste—grated garlic, some celery and carrots, maybe some capers. Added some red wine, too! It's not too thick or thin of a sauce, so you can build it up or down. There aren't any particularly overwhelming flavors. Packaging is fine—nothing bad, nothing good in my opinion.

The new recipe is absolutely disgusting. It makes your pasta taste slimy and just ruins the overall taste. I don't understand why companies change things after they get their customers used to a product for so long. The original Traditional Ragu was the only sauce my family liked. They won't eat any other brand. I've tried tricking them into eating just about every different brand there is and it's just not the same. I guess we just won't have pasta again until they (hopefully) bring back the original sauce. There are way more bad reviews on this product then there are good. Please listen to your customer base and bring back the original.

I loved the taste of the sauce. The dish I made tasted delicious. So happy! My family ate it and no one complained. They even went back for seconds and said it tasted better than the other sauce!

It was bad enough when you all canceled Ragu Express (I will never get over that), but now Ragu traditional. I will not be buying your product until you bring the old one back. Love you guys, but please bring the old one back before I suffer a breakdown from good Ragu deprivation.
