Haagen-Dazs makes great ice cream that is creamy and enjoyable. I do not like ice cream that is "icy". This product was wonderful.

This one is like vanilla taken up a notch. The little bean flecks are just so good. It's also very creamy. Since it's Häagen-Dazs you know it's got the best ingredients. It tasted the same as any other vanilla ice cream I'd get. I thought it was going to be fancy or something but it wasn't really all that different to brands you'd probably normally buy.

The vanilla is a good basic kind that makes good sundaes with toppings. However, I highly recommend some of their other flavored kinds. Those are pretty awesome. I gave it only 4 stars because I think price could be a little better. Quality is top notch though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vanilla ice cream is good, It's really rich flavor so if you like rich ice cream then you should enjoy this one. It held in my freezer a few days after being open with out signs of freezer burn as well.

My wife and I are disappointed that our favorite ice cream of all time, the Haagen-Dazs Vanilla Ice Cream, no longer tastes the same as before. Did you change the recipe? You must have. It looks like many people, fans, have noticed the change. Can you please change the recipe back to what it was and let us know ("now with an improved recipe!"), so that we know when to buy it again? Or should we try Vanilla Bean Ice Cream instead?? Either way, it is disappointing and discouraging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Haagen Dazs vanilla ice cream is my go to choice when i really want to treat myself to something special. The vanilla flavor permeates the ice cream in a way that reminds one of the old hand made ice cream of the past. My family especially like it for topping on cake or pies but I prefer to savor the taste of the ice cream by itself. There are no unnecessary ingredients added but calories keep me from eating a whole pint at one time.
