It is always super consistent in the delicious vanilla flavor and superb creamy consistency. This ice cream is perfect for eating by itself, mixing into milkshakes or going all out by making it into an ice cream sundae. Haagen-Dasz is by far our favorite ice cream purveyor and all young and old enjoy it in our house!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Vanilla is perfect all on its own, but these folks do it right. Some companies make it too creamy, some not creamy enough, but HD has it just right with a strong enough flavor to make it work your while. It's just really good ice cream.

I used to love the old vanilla recipe. It was creamy and dense and far superior to any other company's vanilla formula. Your recent changes have made it icier, less rich, and more like the moderate-quality vanilla ice creams that are widely available from other companies. PLEASE bring back the old recipe, or at least make both the old and new recipes available for those of us who yearn for the bygone era when your vanilla was the top choice by a wide margin. I'm very discouraged by your company's decision to monkey with a time-tested formula that had separated you from the rest of the crowd.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Haagen Dazs has really good ice cream and I really liked their vanilla flavor. It's really creamy and very tasty. It was the good vanilla flavor not the fake flavor and it wasn't the french vanilla either. I do like the french vanilla but this vanilla was actually really good.
