As a long time customer, I figured I got a bad batch when I noticed the taste of the vanilla was off...no longer as creamy, with a more sour aftertaste. After purchasing another batch from a separate store and some quick googling, I discovered the formula had been changed...I'm very disappointed. I never minded paying a premium for the best vanilla ice cream by far, but the taste just isn't what it used to be.

Add some chocolate chips and you have chocolate chip ice cream with chips and quantity that you like. The possibilities are endless! But they nailed it with the Vanilla ice cream. Go get ya some!

Haagen Daz Vanilla was my all time favorite ice cream. They must have changed the formula. Where it used to be sweet decadent rich and creamy, the latest pint was icy and thin, lacking the richness of flavor. It tasted like it could have been cheap, generic ice cream. I am so disappointed!

The vanilla flavor was strong, but not overpowering, just exactly what I was hoping for. Would buy it again in the future! Also found that the freezer burn sometimes that quickly attacks ice cream packs of this size did not take over and was able to eat as soon as taken out of freezer.

The ingredients are simple and all natural and it shows up in its texture and taste. Nearly all other ice cream uses fillers and artificial ingredients. The vanilla is all natural and it's my favorite flavor.
