where's the vanilla?

Very little vanilla taste. Perhaps they should use real vanilla bean instead of "extract". Also, does not taste as sweet as I like; in fact, very little flavor at all.

PERFECT FOR RECIPES!

I love using this product in recipe creations. I always find this brand of ice cream not only super flavorful but also very creamy which is something I look for in an ice cream for extra indulgence!

Strange change in flavor

I have been eating Haagen Daz ice cream since 1979. My favorite flavor for years has been Vanilla. Our recent quart has a weird taste. Both my husband and I noticed it independently. Could you please explain what has changed?

Not like it used to be

This used to be my favorite brand of icecream. These last times I've gotten it, the texture is now like the lesser quality icecream filled with air. I liked this brand because it was hard icecream. It is not that any longer, mo matter which flavor.

Smooth taste

I was so excited to see these available again in my local store. I love Häagen-Dazs ice cream for its smooth velvety tastes and vanilla is my favorite. This half gallon size was perfect for curbing my cravings. I hope they bring it back ASAP!

Not what it used to be...

We only purchase 2 brands of ice cream in our home. Sadly, your vanilla ice cream tastes like ice milk. No creaminess. No rich taste. No great vanilla flavor. We won't be buying your brand anymore.

Vanilla changed-not good

Are used to love the richness of the vanilla and I noticed right away that it was not the same I noticed it was icy and had more of a water-based texture rather than a creamy base texture and I am thoroughly disappointed!!!!

Very disappointed

Because it is so expensive, I buy it for special treats. I was leery of the new packaging. So excited to have Hagen-Daz and was sooo disappointed. Tasted like any other cheap vanilla ice cream.

Not The Same

Your "small change" to the original vanilla totally wrecked this product. Now it tastes exactly like all the cheaper, no-name brands out there. Totally disgusted.

Vanilla with no real vanilla?!?!

Like a lot of other people i was really surprised that the both taste and feel of the luxury vanilla ice cream i was remembering... Icy and made with vanilla extract totally ruined my experience... :/
