Something has changed with the mayonaise recipe, it is oily and laeaves a weird sensation in the mouth. Is this consistnet with the change inte jar, it is supposed to me bore ecofriendly. But bring back the fluffy, origninla Hellman's Mayo! This new stuff is gross!

Please return to the old recipe!!! I used to love this stuff and could almost eat it out of the jar. This past spring I threw away many partial jars hoping for my tasty Hellmanns. Not to be! I am in South Carolina and my tomato sandwiches, tomato pie, 8 layer salad are all suffering. I am now a former Fan....willing to return with old recipe!!!

Something has changed in and it was for the worst. Been using only Hellman's for over 40 years and so had my Mom and my Grandma' s . Even though it would cost a little more no matter what we would go without something else to pay the extra and buy Hellman's, We used nothing else especially for Tuna , egg and potato salad. The flavor that once was , is not there anymore and it's runny once mixed. The flavor seems almost spoiled after a month or so after opening . Not sure what has changed , but please go back no matter the cost and make it and sell it the same way Hellman's used to be or you will be losing many , many customers .

I have ONLY bought your Real Mayonnaise since I married in 1970. It was my family's favorite! Everyone raved about my food made with your Real Mayonnaise. However, I bought some the other day and it was terrible! It had an aftertaste that was all wrong. It ruined the ham sandwiches I made and today it ruined the egg salad I made. What have you done? I see now that many people have complained about this and you haven't done anything about it. Why? I want my tried and true Real Mayonnaise back! (I live west of the Rockies so it is labelled Best Foods here.) I am going to throw it in the garbage today! Now, do I try another jar of your Real Mayonnaise or a different brand? I see America's Test Kitchen / Cook's Country / Cook's Illustrated recommend Blue Plate Real Mayonnaise as the best mayonnaise over your Real Mayonnaise. I never thought I would have to look for another mayonnaise for my family!

Bioengineered crap! I have used Hellmans for everything for my entire life...not anymore! You have permanently lost my business! The flavor will never be the same again...really sad! No one can trust the crap you put in your products now. I hope more and more people will wake up and realize what bioengineered products really are and stop buying your product.

Over the last year I noticed that I can no longer eat your mayo. I have opened a number of jars and I just don't like the taste anymore. I used to love mayo and only ever bought hellmanns. Now I am fine with the packets I get at the burger places, but when I use it out of the jar the taste I used to like isn't there anymore. Did something change or did my taste change? Is my body telling me not to eat it anymore? I have not tried another brand yet because I can't afford to throw out food.

The recipe has changed and definitely not for the better. Creamy is not good, seems as if more water or something added. This mayonnaise now breaks down much faster and the taste is is more like a vinegar additive of some sort. Do not recommend and will not purchase any more in the future.

This is my favorite mayonnaise when I don't have time to make my own. It has a perfect creamy consistency. It goes well on its own on sandwiches, toasts, wraps, with meats and salads. It works perfectly as a mix for various sauces. has a very good and tasty composition.

I am very disappointed in Hellman's. I always used your Mayo. Adding soybeans oil totally ruined my favorite Mayo. I will have to look for a new condiment to replace it.. you should think about going back to your original recipe.. one very sad customer

Guys, my family has been using Hellman's Real for generations but lately it seems like you did something different. The mayo lacks that classic flavor that makes everything from sandwiches to my wife's tartar sauce just right. It's thinner, less flavorful. I get it. Every once in a while some food engineer comes along promising "better mouth feel" or more profits by cutting a corner but seriously, you guys were a national treasure and now as your mayo slides unceremoniously off my knife, I wonder if I should start looking for a better alternative. Please stop whatever you're doing and go back to the way you were.
