Affordable TV for Next-Gen Gaming

If you need a TV for your next-gen gaming console (XBox Series X or PS5), any of these new Vizio Quantum TVs will give you the most bang for your buck. I am an early adopter of the M55Q8-H1, and am very satisfied with the HDMI 2.1 connectivity and Vizio's ProGaming Engine features. If you get this TV in the 55 or 65-inch form factor, please know that you will need to do a fair amount of calibration work on each of the different display settings out of the box to personalize your experience, and the speakers are pretty lousy (poor volume management and no bass), but they can emulate virtual surround sounds. Still, for the best experience, make sure you have a decent sound system ready to connect. This TV has eARC and is optimized for Dolby Atmos.

It's mediocre at best.

While the TV is not a bad price...it lacks quality. Some can say that it to be expected...but to be a QLED TV, it's pretty sad. The picture quality is less than average in today's market. Truthfully my $198 Panasonic from Best Buy had a better picture. The sound is okay, but not great. I would not have bought this TV, had I seen or used one before. I attempted to attach a picture. Some how the quality in the picture looks 5x more crisp than it does in person.

Fantastic mid-range 4k TV! FAST Shipping!

I purchased the Vizio M-series (Q8) TV to replace an older 1080p TV. The purpose of this TV is for casual gaming and streaming. I read the reviews and watched videos of this model online but was hesitant to purchase without seeing the TV in-store. It's important to note that this M-series is offered in a Q7 and Q8 model. Q8 is the better choice due to the number of dimming zones. I would not recommend the Q7 after comparing the two models. Assembly was quick and easy. Like most new devices the TV will require a firmware update before the setup is complete. The update was quick and the remaining setup process was easy. The TV is preinstalled with all major streaming apps. The menus are easy to navigate. The remote is easy to use and the TV has a casting option for Apple and Android devices. Now the important part, the picture quality is fantastic! The colors a vibrant with no motion blur. The M-series Q8 is worth every penny. I'm happy with the purchase and considered buying the same model for another room in our house. This TV offers a lot of great features at a price level that undercuts the "big boys". My only negative (which is small) is the sound quality. It could be better, it's not horrible. Most people know what to expect for the sound quality of a flat panel TV. An inexpensive soundbar will go along way to enhance this model. Walmart Shipping - 5 Star rating! I purchased this TV from Walmart.com. This is my first TV purchase online and was concerned the TV would arrive damaged. The TV shipped free with 2-day delivery. I really did not expect the TV to arrive in 2 days since the order took a day for processing and a shipping label was not created. Once I received the tracking information I thought there is no way this TV will arrive in one day and not be damaged. I was happily surprised to see the TV shipped from GA to NC and out for delivery the next day. The box arrived in good condition.

Never buy Vizio again!

My Vizio 65 TV is only 5 months old and the screen and audio went out. Took 2 weeks to get repairman out to look at the TV. Made numerous calls to Vizio support line and got numerous different stories on repair process. I will never buy another Vizio product based on the lack of customer service satisfaction.

HEADACHE AFTER HEADACHE

Vizio has sent 2 tv's 2 remotes and the tv still does not work. They had to send a repair man out for a brand new tv.....pitiful. Please save yourself from a poor quality tv and comapny and buy yourself a samsung or a sony. Spend a few hundred more and you peace levels will remain intact. This is my first Vizio and this will be my last. LOW QUALITY TVs.

This is a replacement for the first TV I ordered. It must have been damaged in shipment. There were three large vertical wide lines on right side of screen. This one was just fine and has a great picture. I set it on calibrated dark. I had to darken the screen because my eyes could not take the brightness which probably takes away from picture quality, but it still has a great picture. Watching ballgames is great. I can not rate gaming since I am not interested in gaming.

OTA, DVD motion blur maybe!

Serious motion blur when upscaling 0TA or DVDs. If the Camera or characters were still, not moving had an amazing picture. The real time refresh rate bounced at 59/60 Hz. Never went over 60 and never saw 120. I returned it and bought a NU 6900 at half the price. Had it now for months and amazed for what I got at half the price.

How to rate a tv that works for less than a week t

Tv arrived 1/9/21 it worked excellent for 2 days then wouldn't turn on had to unplug plug back in, it came on then on1/15/21 went off and would not come back on. I sent for a replacement it took three weeks came on 2/9/21. Now im ready again this time i wall mount plug everything in turn on set all the settings again, plugin the monster cable rgb lighting in back everything is beautiful except a small electrical smell. I just thought it was just because its new. Well next day wife goes to turn on while i am sleeping and the tv goes off with a pop sound i came out and smelled the same but stronger smell than before.well here i am now contacting customer service at vizio its going to take 5 days to get verification on when my next replacement will be coming. This is my first 4k experience is this how it is. Not sure what to think i have a 40" sitting on the wall that hasnt gone out at all. How and why could this even happed twice in a row
