This product is not just for use in the kitchen!

My husband recently had surgery on his elbow. We were told that he could take a shower, but needed to keep the site clean and dry. We thought we would wrap his arm in ClingWrap and then a garbage bag. As I went to the cupboard to get the ClingWrap, I saw the box of Glad Press'N Seal! We put one layer of ClingWrap on the arm and secured it with the Press'N Seal. The Press'N Seal kept the arm completely dry and the seal stayed tight with no problem whatsoever! This was a great help to us, and I had peace of mind that my husband's arm would stay safe and dry! Thanks Glad Press'N Seal! What a great little trick for those in casts!

LOVE this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you haven't tried Press'n Seal, you are really missing out. I've been using it since it came out and it is the go-to sealing product in our house. You never have to search for the "right" lid again. It seals everything tight no matter shape or size. Also great for freezing!

Forget traditional plastic wrap...Press'n Seal is THE best!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will never, ever use traditional plastic wrap again! I use Press'n Seal for all of my food wrapping needs. Seals fantastically! You don't need "extra" to wrap around the entire bowl/plate....just enough to make sure edges are covered! Plus, it's so much easier to handle! There are so many uses...my favorite (after food wrap) is to line my refridgerator shelves with it...once they become soiled just pull it off and start fresh! Thank you, Glad, for creating this wonderful product :]

Love the Wrap - Do Not Love the Box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Press'n Seal! It clings to everything, and I never have any more frustrating moments in the kitchen with flimsy cling wrap. Press'n Seal will cover and seal your items with ease everytime. You can count on it! My family is on a budget and even though this is a more pricey item, I buy it anyway because it WORKS! However, FIRST you must manage to get the wrap torn from the roll. Glad, I love you, but you really need to get a better cutter on the box. I am consistently ripping and wasting my wrap because it cuts half way and I have to stretch and tear my wrap manually. Not cool. Could we fix this? Some other brands I have used in the past have the cutter on the inside/lower-half part of the box where the roll dispenses and the cutter seems to be some type of metal - not plastic. I don't know if placement or material of the box cutter is at play, but those always seem to cut better. A better cutter could take this product from great to AMAZING!

Don't Buy

We all hate cling wrap. We wanted to try this because of the new design. The wrap is probably the best to manage that we have ever tried. Unfortunately, the product is not usable. The frustration factor attempting to use the box it comes in is beyond words. A few times we have actually cut a piece and been able to use it. Now we give up and go get a pair of scissors first. Please do not buy it. I just threw mine out the window.

Worst product packaging ever

I have been using Press 'n Seal since it first came on the market. I recommended to many friends because I thought it was an exceptional product. But alas, you're packaging has taken its toll...I will no longer buy Press 'n Seal until you replace the awful dispenser. After using a few times, the box falls apart and I am left struggling to get the remaining wrap off the roll. This has been going on for several years and I will no longer buy a product that causes such frustration. I can't believe that in this day and age, your engineers cannot come up with a better design. The plastic end spindles always fall out causing the box to fall apart, making it impossible to tear the wrap!!

love the wrap , but the cutter is useless

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this wrap , and prefer it to others. BUT - the cheap plastic cutter is useless - mine tears the wrap , rather than a decent cut. Most times, i use scissors to cut it. I don't know if this a new issue , or just this one box. I would give it 5 stars if not for the cutter.

Found a new use for Press'n Seal

My wife recently had rotator cuff surgery and as with most procedures, she had to refrain from showering for several days, post surgery, and was admonished to not get the incisions wet. I was trying to figure out the best way to keep water away from the incisions....thought, why not try Press'n Seal. It worked beautifully...easy to apply and kept the incisions protected. I thought I would pass this use along as it is a bit unusual compared to kitchen use.

Awesomeness you can't cut

When Press N Seal hit the market I thought it was so incredible I was prepared to name my kids Press and Seal. Then you started putting it in a flimsy box with a cutter that doesn't do the one thing it's supposed to. Three straight boxes like this now and I am done. I'm tired of the frustration. My son Reynolds and my daughter Wrap will be glad that daddy no longer has to get mad cleaning up after dinner.

Terrible packaging

As so many others have said, the packaging is terrible. It is a waste of money buying this since a good portion of the product is wasted due to the ineffective cutting system. After so many complaints, why isn't it fixed??? The cutting edge is not sharp enough to cut the wrap. The box starts falling apart since it is too flimsy to hold up to the intense attempts at trying to cut the wrap without destroying the wrap or box. On the positive side, it is great to warp glass, plastic or even a paper plate. But, get with it. Fix the packaging.
