I am extremely happy with the purchase price and quick delivery. My only concern is that when I opened the foil package, the filter was gritty. I opened another and found the same thing. I decided to use the replacement filter and the water quality is definitely better than without it. I've been purchasing the PUR MineralClear filters and haven't previously had this issue and don't know if it's really a concern.

Our city water has a lot of chemicals in it making it bitter to drink. Two years ago I purchased a Pur Water Filter System for our kitchen faucet and we could not be happier. We use the filtered water for anything we make to drink (coffee, juice, ice water) and the taste is clean. The cost of the replacement filters is less than what we spent on bottled water and we don't have to worry about all those plastic bottles to hold for recycling.

When I buy this particular item, the water smells fishy. It's in the 3 packs. Also in some Pur Filter Unit packs that have been sitting on the shelf. Take a whiff. Take it back if it stinks. Make sure you have your receipt though and that you have all three filters! Take care.
