I received this product as a BzzAgent to review. My husband and I do not eat bacon super often, maybe once or twice a month when we want a BLT or a full breakfast spread. I do often buy Hormel black label, but this was my first time with microwave bacon. When opening the box I noticed that there was some variation in size - two packs had very thick slides and two had very thin slices. The first batch I made was one of the thinner packs, which turned out just OK. A bit less crispy/firm than I prefer, but it made an OK BLT. Of note, the bag popped open while making. The second time, I made two pouches, both the thicker/fattier ones. The bags didn't pop and the pieces were crumpled up and squishy. I tried putting them back in, each for about 40 more seconds, they still were a squishy balled up mess. To salvage breakfast, I took the balled up slices out of the package and finished them in a pan. My husband remarked that it was strange - they tasted like the "best fake bacon... as if it was turkey bacon that almost tasted like pork." And that it was too chewy and not crisp. The last time was also one of the packs of thinner slices - which I added 30 seconds onto the cook time. This was nearly perfect. Crispy, not squishy or wet. The bag did pop this time as well. These slices tasted like real bacon. My final thoughts are that there is an inconsistency with the product. If the bag doesn't pop and vent, it essentially steams the bacon and gives it an off taste and terrible texture. You may have to play with the time based on your microwave. This is an OK product and some people may love it if they eat bacon very frequently or have a large family, I think I would rather just buy regular bacon and use my air fryer.

I received this from BzzAgent to sample & give a review on. It included a paper with cooking directions. I cooked 2 slices of bacon in the microwave per the directions and it was still raw, I then cooked it double the time and it was still raw. I took it out and fried it in a pan like any other bacon. It was delicious! It wasn't as salty as regular bacon. Which I loved because I'm on a low salt diet. I would recommend this to friends and family but not in the microwave, just fry like regular bacon. I would get this again!

Bacon, Bacon, Bacon, One of my favorite things every. Hormel Black Label Bacon is so good, Takes seconds and your off eating your hot delicious bacon. It tastes amazing and they have done all the hard work for you! I can now have a BLT at a moments notice. I love Hormel Products, They are very high quality. So tasty and crispy!

Received this item as a sample. We loved it because it's very easy to make that my 11-year-old would do it. It's very tasty. At first, I thought it was going to be crunchy because it's heated in the microwave, but after we heated it, it was nice and crunchy and had a great taste to it. I'm definitely buying it on my next trip to sams.

Love this product for convenience. We use this for BLT'S, and it works great! Just heat a little in the microwave and throw it on your sandwich. Tastes like regular bacon, minus the long cooking time and the bacon grease. Need fresh bacon bits for something? All you have to do is slice this up, and it's ready. It's definitely a great idea with great taste!

I was given this Hormel Microwave Bacon for free from BuzzAgent in exchange for an honest review. There were 3 pks in the box, both containing 4 pieces each. The first package I cooked according to the directions on the box (which was 2-3 mins). Our microwave cooks a little hotter so I tried the 2 mins and it overcooked 2 pieces and other 2 were flimsy. I ate them anyhow on a sandwich and thought I'll adjust the time and to the next pack. The 2nd pack I lowered the temp and used the same time, but they were all flimsy so put them back in the extra min for a total of 3. I walked away and when it went off for finish they were so crispy they just crumbled in pieces and dust. The 3rd pack was pretty much the same. It wasn't horrible just adjusting the temp and time was a pain.

This bacon is a great substitute for on the go it cuts cook time significantly. I would definitely recommend to family and friends. The taste is wonderful and it's perfectly cooked Everytime once I learned the proper cook time. Only down fall is I wish there was more in the pack for the price otherwise it's perfect!!!

****I received this product for free originally in exchange for writing an honest review.*** This product is delicious! Better than other bacon products I tried. Cooking directions were accurate. Little or no mess compared to traditional bacon prep. I liked the separate packs in the Master Pack. I will buy this product in the future, and would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

This is the worst bacon ever. I cooked it in the bag for 3 minutes and it's still almost raw. I cooked it another minute on paper towels. Still super limp and really gross. So gross I can't stomach it. I highly recommend you avoid this product. GROSS!!!

I received this product from BzzAgent to try and give a review. I love to make a good BLT now and then and it's hard to just make a few pieces, so this is a great option if you only want a few pieces. Upon following the directions, I did notice that the pieces on the outer edges cooked really well. They were crispy and fully cooked. However the ones in the middle were slightly undercooked and fatty. I had to put those back in for a few more seconds. Not a big deal, but I do think they should make it to cook more evenly. Other than that, it was a great product that tastes great as well.
