But, you will find lots of ways to use it, if you keep it on hand, so it is usually gone by the time the past due date is upon you. Having this on hand helped me through Christmas program treats for our charter school. My Gooey Brownie Bars are great. Take a 13x9 brownie mix, add a stick of butter and 2 eggs and press into 13x9 pan, no need to grease pan. If you want nuts, just press 2/3 c. chopped over top of brownie lightly. Mix up 8 oz. philly, 2 eggs, 1 tsp. or so vanilla, and 2 c. confectioner's sugar. Dump over brownie and spread it out evenly. You can add chocolate chips into the philly mixture, too. Bake in a pre-heated 350 degree oven for 30 min. It won't look done, but you want it jiggly. That's what makes it a gooey treat. Dust with powdered sugar when cool, cut with a plastic knife and enjoy. Dieter's beware! Save up your fat and calorie allowance for these. For your dietary safety, cut these into 1-inch morsels. One is never enough!

Known for its love on a bagel it's delicious in dips, 7 layer dips, taco dishes and so many pastries..there are many brands but I prefer the quality of Philadelphia.. and they have so many flavors ..strawberry, chive, fat free, whipped, numerous choices..great to have in refrigerator for last minute company .. u can't go wrong!

Philadelphia has the best brand of cream cheese that I have tried so far the taste is really good and creamy. The texture is perfect not too soft not too hard. The packaging is very simple and easy to manage. It stays fresh for a very long time as long as you keep it refrigerated it's very versatile. You can use it on many different things. I even put a little bit of it in my mac & cheese, my kids in the morning English muffins with jelly and they are absolutely delicious especially put on toasted bread. I also use this brand specifically to make my cheesecakes as well. I bake and I cook every day at home so I always like to use Philadelphia cream cheese. it also adds another great tasting touch your food as well. Especially in pastas.

I am so disappointed in the Philadelphia cream cheese these days. They are now adding carob bean gum in it and the taste is very odd. IN fact when you make cheese cake the sugar enhances the carob bean taste. It ruined my Christmas cheesecake, and made me sick to my stomach. I only put one star because I had to.
