If it's cream cheese, it has to be Philly. I love bagels, especially toasted with lots of cream cheese. This is the brand I buy and I also really liked the whipped variety. My husband likes to male cheesecakes and I make cheeseballs for the holidays, this is the brand we always buy. So creamy and smooth. My cheeseball shown below, I roll them in crushed honey roasted peanuts.

Orginal cream cheese is good for bagels that already have flavor to them. To me I find it kinda dull and would buy different flavors over this one. Also, store brand cream cheeses taste just the same for a cheaper price. So I would buy another brand of orginal cream cheese before this one.

I make my own chocolate with this cream cheese. There is Philadelphia cream cheese chocolate in Europe and I always grab a few boxes when I visit but it's not available here in Maryland. If someone knows a place where it's available please let me know. However I mix warm heavy cream, baking chocolate chips and the original Philadelphia cream cheese and enjoy a spoonful of my own chocolate every evening as a treat. I enjoy the other flavors and spreads as well but the sweet ones are my favorite.

This is a great cream cheese. The only brand ill buy actually. I make so many things with this. My chicken dip is a picnic fav! The kids love it on begals in the morning. I pretty much exclusively buy Philadelphia when purchasing cream cheese. I find that the other brands always taste slightly different and while there isnt anything wrong with that, i just personally dont like the flavor as much. Ive used this in everything sweet and savory as well as on its own on a bagel and my products always turn out the way i want them to.

I can use this for multiple recipes because it stays fresh for so long. So in addition to using it on bagels, I have made plenty of desserts and also added it to soups and creams for that smooth texture that I seek. It's really delicious as well when you blend it together with fresh herbs.
