I used to buy the 3 pound box, but when I couldn't get it any longer, switched to the 8 oz 6pk box. I noticed a different taste and the product was not the same texture. In reading the label, it has different ingredients than the one I used before, but says "original" on the carton. Confused and am now trying the Member's Mark 3 pound box for my cooking.

Philadelphia is the only cream cheese I'll purchase. You can take tell a cream cheese quality by how well it performs in a cheesecake. So creamy and flavorful with the perfect texture. Don't purchase the store brand, pay the extra bit of money for the real stuff. Promise you won't regret it!

Cream cheesericotta cheese3 eggs1 can of condenced Milk.so look at that cream cheese can be used even for desert.I enjoy the philadelphia brand.i have yet to try this desert! There is nothing better than the original Philadelphia Original Cream cheese. Flavor wise it tastes the best out of all the cream cheese I've tried so far. When you use other cream cheeses you can notice a big difference between this and whatever else brand you're using. The creamy texture and full flavor makes this cream cheese the best in my opinion. When a recipe calls for cream cheese this is the one I use.

Wow.. seeing this brick brings back good memories from 40 years ago. We'd always have frozen lenders bagels in the freezer and bricks of Philadelphia cream cheese in the fridge. It was one of the quick meals I learned how to prepare on my own as a kid. Always tasted great. I may have to revisit this soon.
