I've tried the store brand, and a few of the other dairy brands out there. None of them are as creamy or as tasty as Philadelphia brand. Whether you're making a cheesecake, or just spreading some on your bagel, this is the one you'll want. SO good... now I want a bagel

This cream cheese is definitely one of the expensive options, but it's worth it in my opinion. I use this for my cheese ball recipe and it definitely shines. Even just on a bagel it's great. It's the only cream cheese brand I will use. I highly recommend.

The packaging on the original cream cheese blocks makes it hard to keep the cream cheese from being exposed to the air, so I usually use this version whenever I'm using it in a recipe. For example, when I make Oreo balls (crushed Oreos mixed with cream cheese and dipped in melted Hershey's chocolate), I use these blocks because I can use them all at once.

The best. I won't use anything else. Even if the store I'm in doesn't have Philadelphia Original Cream Cheese, I'll go to another store to find it.  some people might not understand why I just don't pick a generic brand. It's because when I cook I want my food to taste as great as it can, and I want people who are eating the food I just cooked to enjoy what their eating. I don't trust any offbrand products that might make a difference in the how the meal/dessert will end up tasting.

Love the two packs make it really easy when I need more than one pack when baking I love the Philly brand cream cheese and prefer it over any other store brand or major brand I never buy anything but Philly for my needs for breakfast or baking for snacks this make it's super easy to find and use

I find you get more out of the block form of cream cheese compared to the container. Not only do you get more but its a cheaper option as well. In my household we typically buy cream cheese for bagels and desserts. This form fulfills our expectations.

If a recipe ever calls for cream cheese, I always use this product. I prefer this brand over the rest because of the quality and taste. Other brands of cream cheese don't taste the same to me, and they don't have the same amount of variety that this brand offers.

I have a few boxes of this in my fridge right now. I love using it on bagels as well as using it for cheesecakes as well as Oreo balls and baking other goods with cream cheese filling such as muffins and more. The flavor is exceptional and it's a good thick cream that's also spreadable.
