Good OEM performance

I purchased the OEM tire for my Lexus after having balance issues with two other brands Pirelli and GY. They are quiet and do a decent jobs over bumps, not the best though. The only issue I have is that my car started making a faint thumping sound as soon as I left Discount Tire. It was tested by them and they claim not to hear it. It would have been an excellent tire that kept the OEM feel and drive of the car if it wasn't for this issue. The tires don't tramline or vibrate except for a slight rumble noise probably caused by whatever is making them thump. The tires perform great in all conditions. I don't trust them for snow and I change to snow tires in the winter.

Worst tires ever

These tire came with the car. New original. I have 25k on them and I have them rotated every 5k. This last rotation/balance has my tires thumping and sounding like I'm driving on cobblestone.' It's literally driving me crazy. I've always gone with Michelin, but that might change. I can't spend hours at the tire place just to hear excuse's. I e been driving on Michelin's for years and have ever experienced this before.

Didn't seal, couldn't fix, total waste.

Set came on my 2023 Bolt EUV. Ran over something, small hole, just sputtered goo and wouldn't self steal. Reputable tire dealer couldn't fix it because of the brown goo all over the inside prevented a suitable patch. Ended up having to replace the entire set with only 6k mi on them because if they don't seal once I'm sure it will happen again. Considering my car doesn't come with a spare, these were supposed to be the backup. Fail.

Just don't

I've had two sets of these tires now, the first that came on my car when I bought it and the second when I had to get the first replaced. The first set lasted about 30k miles and the second about 40k miles. considering they are rated for 65k they are a little off. Based on all the other reviews where it seems like no one gets close to 65k miles i'm almost wondering if there is a lawsuit that should be going on. Michelin has lost me as a customer

Drew, sorry to read that your tires had to be replaced prior to delivering the expected mileage. The tires have a limited mileage warranty and you should get credit based on the mileage received. The credit would apply to any Michelin tire of your choice that is suitable for your application.

Holy Garbage Michelin Man!

Tires came OEM on my Ford Escape. Rubber keeps chipping off them causing craters that have caused the tires to lose traction on the roads. They basically have dry rotted in under 38000 miles! I thought they were 60,000 mile tires! Money wasted having to replace them so soon. Ford should think twice about using these as OEM for their vehicles. Even my mechanic was astonished at the craters with missing rubber on these tires!

Only last about 30k miles

I am currently on my third set of tires, and none have lasted more than about 30k miles. Originally installed set that came with my car was replaced on 10/7/2015 at 28,247 miles. Second set was replaced on 5/10/2018 at 51,742 miles. My third set needs to be replaced soon, and i am only at 79,623 miles.

Disappointing durability

While the self sealing feature have saved me a couple of times, these tires have worn out much too quickly. They came with my 2017 Chevy Bolt and are rated for 65000 miles but even though I have rotated them every 7500 miles as recommended by Chevy, the tread wear indicators on all four tires show that they need to be replaced at only 38500 miles. Thats more than 40% off the rated range.

BaldBob, thanks for writing a review. Sorry to read that your tires need to be replaced after only 38,500 miles, but there is a mileage warranty on your tires. You should be able to initiate a warranty claim through your local Michelin retailer.

Terrible tires.

I've driven on Michelin for decades and always had great mileage These came on the vehicle when purchased new 2018 Ford Escape. Junk. 26,000 miles (I only drive about 5,000 miles a year) tread almost gone, cracks all over the sidewalls. Always inflated and always rotated every oil change (I still change every 6 months) Very disappointed. Getting new tires in the next wee or two. Won't be Michelin.

Rick, we'd like to have the tires inspected by an authorized retailer for warranty consideration, particularly due to the cracking. Please have the dealer call us at 866-866-6605 with their findings while you are there at the store.

Great tires, except…

These are the factory tires on my 21 Bolt, and they're pretty good tires, good wear pattern, etc., even at 24k miles. The only real complaint that I have is the SelfSeal. It doesn't like to hold up very well during these hot Texas summers, and have found myself having to put plugs in about a day or two after the initial puncture is removed. I think the SelfSeal is a great short term solution, but it definitely doesn't last.
