I took a while to find a deodorant that worked well for me that does not smell like baby powder. This product was perfect and what I have been using for years. With my most recent purchase, I found that the fragrance is different. It now has the baby powder smell that I hate. I will now have to search for a different product.

what happend? I habe an old tube with original design and the new one. the old smell was fresh like cumber. the new smell seems more powder and chemical smelling. very sad that the deodorant I have worn for 25 years suddenly changed. it does not smell good at all.

Agree that this new scent is unbearable. I can smell deodorant all day and that's after wiping my pits with a tissue to try to get most of it off. The odor gives me a headache. My clothes smell of strong perfume deodorant when I take them off, but not with the prior pleasant scent. I was a very loyal customer and used this product for years, but I won't buy it again, and I'm throwing away the one I just bought. Please please consider going back to the prior product.

This product is one of the BEST deodorants on the market. There is NO residue left on the under arms, and there is no harshness or irritation to the skin. This deodorant makes me feel cool, calm, and collected even in the most stressful moments, and I will continue to recommend it to other people.

I've used many well known name brands in 47 yrs some not well known, scent & unscented varieties. All promising to keep me dry & smell free, I tried Dove 72hr advanced care cool scent solid 6-7 yrs ago I fell in love because it keeps me dry, rven during CA 100 degree days and high stress sweat moments & it lasts 72 hrs. I use on pits, under boobs, I have a separate stick just for bottom of feet before I put socks on or slip into sneakers barefeet it keeps everything dry & smells good with a clean light fresh scent yet it's not overpowering with perfume.

I've been using this deodorant since I was a teenager, so probably around 14-15 years now. The scent was subtle, fresh, and crisp and it was a toiletry staple. I recently ran out and when going to re-order, saw unhappy reviews regarding a scent change. I was a little apprehensive but thought “How different can it really be?” and purchased a 2 pack. I'be been using it for 3 days now and I can confirm, the new scent is so horrible. Instead of fresh and clean, it smells heavy and cloying. Whenever I move my arms I get a huge whiff and it makes me cringe what other people must smell. Honestly I will not be repurchasing unless the old formula is brought back and I will throwing out the new sticks I just purchased (what a waste). I'll be on the hunt for a new deodorant that doesn't make me smell like I drenched my armpits in perfume. I do not recommend this to anyone.

I'm so disappointed that Dove decided to change this scent. The original Go Fresh Cucumber and Green Tea scent was a gamechanger in the antiperspirants world - may tried to copy it but only Dove had the freshest/cleanest yet slightly sweet scent. Now the scent is some powder mixed with a hint of.. freshness? I don't like it. I really hate when companies change a product that has been working for YEARS. I will need to find a new deodorant because this scent is awful. I will mourn the original Cucumber & Green Tea scent because there is truly nothing like it on the market.

Oh no, what happened??? I specifically always buy this scent because I can't stand powdery deodorants, and my body's ph doesn't like them either - powder scents seem to get amplified on me. So this is why I was so happy to discover this product several years ago. It had a clean scent that smelled fresh, just fresh but not excessively perfumey. Well, this is no more. Apparently Dove changed the scent on this product. Gone is the fresh cucumber scent. Now it's just flowery powder that hits you in the face. I sat wearing it for about an hour but it was so distracting I had to wash it off. What a waste of money! Don't know why they changed it, the new scent scores a big 0 from me. What a shame, looks like I will need to find something else.

Why, Dove? Why did you take a perfect thing and destroy it?! The new scent is awful. Cheap, powdery grossness. And even more insulting is that there was no indication on the packaging of this tomfoolery! Please read these most recent reviews and revert to the old scent.

I have been using this deodorant for years and I always loved the smell and I recently bought a new one and it smells AWFUL. I had to shower after I put it on the smell was so strong. Please change it back to the old smell it was so much better and actually smelled good. I am so sad and I am going to have to find a new scent.
