Dove Advanced Care feels very comfortable on the skin with a smooth application that dries quickly and absorbs well without feeling sticky. I also love that it leaves very little residue on clothes while still delivering strong all-day performance and freshness. The packaging is practical and easy to use, and the formula keeps my underarms soft, protected, and hydrated throughout the day.

I have been using Dove products, my whole life using the soaps. I love how they make your skin feel so soft. And I have been using your deodorant ever since you have come out with them. I love the cucumber, melon deodorant. I love The scent how it smells so light in fruity. I enjoy wearing your deodorant because it gives me full protection and absorption all day long and does not leave any nasty residue on your clothing, I would highly recommend this product to other people to give it a try

I've used this deodorant for 2 years now. I usually use deodorant a couple times a day, maybe 3x a day if it's particularly hot, never had a problem with odor using this until the formula switched. I have to use it 5x a day now. That's on a day when I'm not sweating a lot. I'll have to find a new brand now because it's wasteful. To make a product then that product not work properly means you also wasted resources producing it.

I've used the cucumber Dove deodorant for over 15 years, and purchased a new stick this afternoon. What a disappointment! This new fragrance isn't anywhere as pleasant as the previous scent, and even worse, it is EXTREMELY loud and overbearing. It is very powdery and sharp. Nothing like the tried and true Cool Essentials I've used for years. I loved the old formula for so long because of how soft and inoffensive it is. This is very disappointing and I hope Dove returns the Cool Essentials/Cucumber deodorant to its former formulation.

The new formula is awful. The smell is sharp. No better word to describe it. It used to be fresh but now it is very chemical smelling. The new formula is causing my armpits to be itchy. The old one was smooth and hydrating. After many years of using Dove I am going to need to switch.

Loved this for years. The new stick I just bought leave my armpits sticky. It also has a very unpleasant smell. The cucumber smell was very soft and fresh, the new stick is very strong and overpowering. I can smell myself all day and it's not good. I'm very dissatisfied with the new formula and will unfortunately need to find a new brand to replace Dove.

Please please please, go back to the old formula. I suffer from migraines triggered by smells and it was so wonderful to have dove cool essentials work for me for years! I opened a new pack and I was sick within a couple hours! I thought maybe I got a bad batch, but comparing the ingredients and, nope, you changed things! Whhhhhy? The scent now is utterly unbearable for those who don't want walk around smelling like deodorant and/or are sensitive to chemicals that could trigger migraines. I'm now scrambling to find another alternative. To go from fabulous to terrible, such a disappointment.

The one with aluminum zirconium tetrachlorohydrex was great! I've been using it for years. But I just got two new sticks that smelled so sharp and awful from the get go. The new active ingredient seems to be “aluminum sesquichlorohydrate.” It is SO bad. The bottles look the same except for the active ingredients. I can't use the new ones. I smell so awful that I can't stand myself.

As someone who has used this product for many years, I was disappointed to find that it has changed. The feel of the product on my skin as it goes on feels "slicker", and never seems to quite get dry. My underarms stay feeling "wet" and I don't like that. Please consider going back to the old formula. Unfortunately I now have to find a new deodorant.

I never write reviews but this one can't be avoided. I've been using this deodorant for many years. Way, way back when it was cool melon. I had a difficult time finding a deodorant that really worked for me so I was very relieved when I finally found this one. Plus the scent (not the price) was great. However, I just opened a new container & the smell actually made me sick. I thought I'd gotten a bad product but after reading other reviews I guess not. I don't know who's bright idea it was to change from a scent I've gotten compliments on to this rancid perfumed baby powder mess but perhaps this isn't the job for them. I would suggest trash collector because if this new scent was able to pass inspection then real garbage will smell just as heavenly to them. There is nothing cool or essential about this product now. I will be on the hunt for a new deodorant by a different brand. Bye Dove.
