[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well I wasn't to sure about getting this campaign. How on earth do you talk to people about toilet tissue? Not something that comes up frequently in conversation. I used all 4 rolls I received. I wasn't super impressed. I thought it was a little stiff and not real pliable. It's not commercial toilet tissue for sure but it's not my soft normal brand either. I found it just okay. It was a bit stiff and thick to my licking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family and I tried the new Charmin pack of toilet paper that was sent to us in the bzz kit and I have to say I was kind of let down. We primarily use Scott toilet tissue, which I would say serves our needs just fine. We do tend to overuse it though each time. When we started to use the new Charmin roll I had to admit that we had a preconceived notion that Charmin is ultra soft and that you have to be very careful at how much you throw in the toilet or you risk clogging it up. When we opened the pack right away I noticed that it wasn't very soft. It was softer than the Scott's, but it wasn't significantly different. Also, the roll seems like it is a lot smaller. Even though out of the pack it looks like it is the same size, I guess the thickness of the sheets actually make the roll last maybe half as long. The 4-pack was gone so fast that had I used regular Scott's I might have still been on my first roll. Overall, the toilet paper is of a higher quality than I am used to, but based on how fast the roll was finished and the cost I am most likely not going to purchase this especially with young kids who like to waste the roll.

With three kids at home who are not used to using less, I was plunging toilets daily. This product feels nice, and is durable, but I couldn't buy it for my home.

I suffer from psoriasis and have lesions 'down there'. :( Consequently, I need to, and hence, have been using soft TP. Granted, Charmin feels soft and the roll itself has a very light heft. I needed to use just half of what I was using on my old TP that the Charmin replaced. The thing is, this roll ran out a lot quicker. I do not know if the package we received to review was a non-standard sample/ trial size. I gave it one star less (four stars) for the inadequate number of sheets in the roll and for the sheet width. I am of average build and I found the width not adequate. I am sure Charmin will lose out on bigger or heavier set persons with this sheet width. Pros: ---- 1) Definitely soft 2) Light 3) Passed the 'no-finger-pass-thru' test Cons: ---- 1) Not enough sheets in the roll 2) Sheets a tad too narrow

My 4 year old daughter is potty trained, however, whenever she has to go "number 2" I wipe her bottom. For the first time, after a week of using Charmin Ultra Strong, I am using less tissue and it doesn't tear. I am very pleased with results and the prices are very similar to the brand I normally buy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having tried all of the other bathroom tissues, I find the charmin ultra strong to be a good balance between effective and soft. Some of the softer tissues don't really do the job, they're simply too soft. Some of the other tissues are simply too rough, and hurt. This is a good balance, and doesn't tend to tear in your hand, leaving unwanted holes.
